Everyone was on Team Karl including me, because we were too retarded to realize what the lawsuit was about, because Good Guy Karl never spelled it out piece by piece in one of the two dozen videos he did over four years covering his own lawsuit. A boomer Australian judge corrected our retardation and we realized our mistake, revising our stances now that new information (to us) came to light. Forgive us for not paying attention to a 28 minute long video about Dark Souls where Karl sort of, maybe apologized, but not really, for two minutes at the end.
There are dozens of messages from Karl's discord showcasing how much of an obsessed psycho he was acting towards Billy, and the judge didn't even use them as evidence when he wrote up an entire essay on how obsessed Karl was/is.

He's not right. The mentality that 'Billy Mitchell is the problem' is the primrose path that sent Karl to ruin.

As Karl loved to repeat so much, all this grief happened over 'some donkey kong records'. Unfortunately for the speedrunning community, they care about gay video game scores exactly as much as Billy does and could not take their own advice.

Anyone with a brain knew Jobst was grifting. I watched his videos on Billy just to laugh at how brazen he was becoming, thinking he was some sort of infallible entity. Dude is eating crow (his wife eats bats so he’s probably used to it) and it is super satisfying to watch. Billy dogpiling him after waiting to be declared to winner of the suit makes it all the more sweeter.

The only people on Team Jobst were people who guzzle his boring slop down (people who do not have a brain).

Karl did everything in his power to obfuscate what the case was really about, because if everyone knew from the get go what it was about everyone would had told him to stop being a retard and apologize proper to avoid a loosing lawsuit.
This is entirely on Karl and people are right to be mad at him.
Its bizarre to me that despite all of the evidence coming to light Notch still sides with Karl, who would no doubt throw his ass under the bus if he needed to gain more favor with the speedtroons.
The only reason Karl is playing nice its because Notch paid 1/3rd of his legal fees and will probably pay the debt himself if he's sucking his dick this badly

Keep in mind, Notch just paying off the debt makes his collections trivially easy. It's a good outcome for Billy, amusingly.
