Nigga, pick up a history book. Nearly ALL of France's African colonies revolted against them during WW1. So did a couple of the British ones. Even the Boer remnants in South Africa and the Irish went for second and third rounds while Britain was distracted. There were also a bunch of uprisings in the British Raj.

None of them really succeeded but they absolutely did happen.

Yes but China would cut off a sizeable portion (not all) India's via the Zangmu dam (I am not sure if the Gacha dam is finished) on the Yarlung Tsangpo (brahmaputra) which feeds into the Ganges.

There's a reason China is building tons of dams on the Tsangpo and half of it is to fuck with India's water supply and use it like leverage like the US did with Mexico. The other half is for domestic power use.
