The funny thing is that Turkey's statistic went up after they started taking in Pakistani/Afghani migrants. Their nationalist parties literally won't shut the fuck up about it.

And yeah, India's statistic is total horseshit. You literally can't go three articles in Indian new media without running into something about a woman getting gang-raped somewhere. Just going by that alone I'm gonna guess their statistic is close to like 11 or 12 because they are bigger than Pakistan.

Nobody cares about Indian and Pakistan and neither has long rang weapons to attack any other country (Pakistan even said as much to foreign governments). If a hot war happened between the two every country would just sit back, half hearted say "no, lets try for peace" and watch/record the effects that dropping nukes on a modernish city has. Now China might supply weapons to Pakistan as a "FUCK YOU" to Apple moving production to India but quit frankly the two wiping each other out would do the whole world a favor. Other countries Indian in various Western Governments might make noise but no Western Country wants to die for India.

Call me a nothing ever happens-fag, but I don’t think this will escalate beyond a typical war. India and Pakistan have had nukes for years, and they’ve never escalated to nuclear annihilation before. They’re trying to look tough, but I think they know that if one nuke goes off, they both die. And no world leader would intentionally screw themselves and their livelihood over just for the chance to spite the other side.

And for the sake of honesty, I’m siding with Pakistan on this simply because I know one decent mainland Paki on discord. This is opposed to the Indians we deal with in office and the moronic, nigh-incomprehensible jeet customers I have to deal with at work.

Neither side will launch nukes, because they'd need tech support to get them through the process, and that was offshored to the Philippines and nobody can understand the flips on the phone.

Its a mixed bag.

During the Mughal Empire and colonial times Northern India/Pakistan was far more dominated by feudal elites. These elites have since spent the last 100 years refusing to give up any control of the economy or society resulting in many dictatorships. Pakistan's transition to democracy was pretty fake as these same elites still make up the military, civil service, and intelligence agencies. Their intelligence agency the ISI is believed to be a rogue intelligence agency that potentially runs the country and its 100% confirmed that they fund terrorism everywhere. Its not really a coincidence that Osama Bin Ladin was chilling in Pakistan next to a military base and its well known that they spent the last 20 years supporting the Taliban against the US. Its theorized that Pakistan's shadow government uses the nationalistic/Islamic outrage from Kashmir to prop up their undemocratic society.

India is also very elitist, but their elites maintained control through "Indian socialism" and the prestige of their families. Indians unironically do have free & fair elections, but they are also Indians. Indians want their country to act like a great power and that means responding to Pakistan harshly and always taking the option that involves fighting. Sikh Nationalists in Canada? Kill em. Pakistan acting out? Bomb them. They are in a very nationalistic moment in history and their leaders will probably do something retarded because they genuinely believe in striving for nationalistic goals.

Apparently China helps Pakistan's air force so of the 5 claimed, some were probably shot. But I have a suspicion that perhaps Indian pilots helped. Assuming this information is right, I could imagine an Indian pilot freak out and not know how to manually land without their radar and communication to a higher Jeet for instructions. Asking one to think for themselves in an emergency situation to make an emergency landing on tough terrain sounds like a tall order.
