I mean, Islamic cultures have a rich and proud history of buggering little boys. If we extend it to kiddie-diddling more generally, Muhammad (the most righteous human being who ever lived, apparently) married a six year old and consummated the marriage when she was nine.

Aside from that, I have no idea how you could justify the position Christianity is responsible for it. At worst, you can accuse it of not doing enough to push back on it, and direct particular flack at some denominations for trying to pander to a "modern audience" by kowtowing to it.
