I personally don't like the anti boomer sentiment. What they're doing and saying is retarded yes, but for the average boomer it's really not their fault.

I actually think both the zoomers and the boomers they hate should die. But I get it, there is room for nuance. For example, older women who oppose feminism and sexual degeneracy can often be based and offer words of wisdom. JK Rowling, in her own little way, could be considered based on the Trans question.

But recently, I have been radicalized against boomers by Asmongold.

Asmongold made the observation that the source of the world's problems can often be blamed on 2 groups: incels and karens (who are often boomers). There were 2 incidents that radicalized me against boomers.

In early April, immediately after Trump announced his worldwide tariffs, the stock market as well as people's 401k accounts dropped by 15-20%. Which group is most likely to have 401k accounts and to have spare cash to put into the stock market? Boomers.

I don't remember the anti-Tesla/anti-Elon protest timeline so maybe they were already happening but the stock market drop incited people to protest even more against Elon (as a proxy for Trump). Asmongold made this observation: The anti-Elon protesters are all old fucks. Which makes sense. Young people don't have too much money in their stock or retirement accounts so this market drop didn't really affect them. Asmongold also made the observation: Old people hate technology (Elon Musk is the face of technology).

Then there was the recent Canadian elections. A poll was done asking the various generations which issue was most important to them. For most demographics the most important issues (in various orders) were the cost of living, the housing prices, better standards of living etc. With one exception: the boomers (65+) most important issue was opposing Trump and their least important issue were house prices! (which makes sense, they've already paid off their house).

Not only are boomers incapable of learning new things, but they're also greedy and selfish to an unreasonable degree despite their age. How much more money do they need and what do they want to spend it on with the time they have left in this world?

They grew up in a world that made sense. They're simply not equipped to understand the current one. This happens to all people who age, but i think it's particularly bad with boomers due to the internet split and the fact that they still assume the news has any incentive to be objective because it did when they were our age.

I don't think zoomers and boomers are too different. They're both susceptible to propaganda and they believe everything the mainstream media tells them. Boomers believe the propaganda because they are slow and dumb. Zoomers believe the propaganda because "I'm too smart to be fooled by propaganda!"

Ironically, neither zoomers and boomers understand technology or computers. Boomers because they're behind the times and find it hard to learn and adapt. Zoomers because Apple makes technology idiot-proof to the point where zoomers don't understand basic things like the file and folder system. It's all hidden behind colorful icons and "the cloud" It's the generation in the middle (millennials and GenXers that have a better grasp of technology.

They only thought it made sense because they had no incentive to question things being fed to them.
No ability to find the truth. Don't discount the impact the Internet has made on information availability.

Twitter was reporting yesterday, that the most powerful Democrats had to attend a conference, to be told the Dems stance on immigration is unpopular.

Can we all take a moment to appreciate that all the Boomers have been stomping their feet about Trump destroying the economy and now the economy is doing fine and all the countries that were supposed to become Chinese outposts and ally entirely with China and cut out the US entirely are now re-negotiating trade with the US?

I would counter everything in your post with the same response which is that they don't understand.

-They hate elon musk because the NYT told them to and they can't comprehend an organization like that being corrupt.
-They don't care about standard of living because they don't have to live around animals.
-They don't care about the gutting of western values because they haven't experienced it, them and all their friends still go to church and live in 90% white communities.
-When they hear "the left" they picture people fighting for the middle class, because they've never heard anybody talk about marxism and decolinization. I'm not kidding, they don't even know it's a thing, it has never entered their brains.
-Karens have standards for service because they grew up in a time when foreign owned corporations were not squeezing the employees balls 24/7, to them if a retail worker isn't giving them what they want it's because he's trying to personally piss them off because that's how it was in their day. They don't realize there's literally a system involved preventing them from doing anything. (also worth noting the karen meme was largely a psyop to pull attention away from the fact that most retail workers actually can't stand black people)

It all stems from ignorance rather than malice. That's a problem in and of itself but doesn't evoke the same amount of hatred from me.

Ignorance at a certain point is malice.

The absolute best thing that Trump could do (aside from defanging payment processors) is changing how charities work.

Make it so they have to spend at minimum 70% of their donations on whatever their stated goal is, or they lose their nonprofit status and donations to them don't impact your taxes. Full transparency on what the money goes to, as well.

You seem more forgiving to boomers and seem to be more willing to afford them the privilege (deserved or not) of low expectations.

I have 2 opinions of karens. My first opinion is partially informed by Nick Fuentes: Karens serve an important social role of raising expectations of customer service. Employees should be discouraged from being uncaring and lazy, they have a job to do. Karens can and should also encourage non-workplace behavior like not littering and putting the shopping trolley back where it belongs instead of just leaving it around where it may get hit by and damage cars (see the "lazy bones" YouTuber).

However, obviously sometimes Karens take it to the extreme asking to see the manager because some poor minimum wage worker didn't bend over backwards for him/her.

The other aspect of karens and the genesis of karens I believe is a way for Black people to be racist against White women without specifically referring to race. Basically a dog whistle for leftists. This is linked to your point about Black people being very poor customers. Waiters/waitresses hate serving Black people because Black customers demand the world but never pay tips (compared to other races). Even prostitutes hate servicing Black men.
