They will literally see small Christian towns emptied out and replaced with muslims, and think "yes this is good." They'll see those muslims rape little white girls and kill little white boys and think "we're such good people, let's open a charity for them." They'll see the local white men be put out of a job by cheap imported labor, and they'll see him letting down his entire family, and think "hell yeah."

They LOVE it. That the only conlusion I can possibly reach. Any time I try to confront them on it they make excuses and NEVER express a SHRED of sympathy for the victims. I'm not implying he was a total pacifist (although it's not related to him telling his disciples to buy swords which due to context could be metaphorical, also they didn't actually sell their cloaks later on), he after all engaged in violence against the moneylenders. Faith is an active afair as is love, and you can understand the secular necesity of restricting the mass movements of people (which is ultimatly a secular, economic affair) while still loving and feeling pitty for those caught in the middle of it all.
