It’s less a Post-Apocalyptic novel and more a discussion on Catholicism’s place after a global nuclear exchange. The idea of Early Medieval Ages-style illuminations of electrical diagrams and the rediscovery of scientific invention before humanity’s ultimate failing of destroying itself. It’s pretty good.

Holy shit... where would they even go? Pakistan is bordered by India, Iran, Afghanistan and China. China would be the best option, but northern Pakistan territories just so happen to be contested harshly by India, and the China territory these people would enter to would be the mountainous Tibet and desolate Gobi desert. They're stranded for good.

I think they may legit need to get a boat ride to the gulf states.
