Sketch app is great for phones, although it's a lot less fun widgets n shit on laptop. I mostly use my phone because my laptop got fucked. HOWEVER, when I do, I use a mix of Core 8 and Krita. Krita is made by furries but you can personalize and literally code your own brushes, as well as type in codes from others to add to yours. Core is what I use for base stuff, and Krita is for more detailing, fine tuning, coloring, and shading. It's a bit more complicated to navigate which is why I don't only use it to draw.

it is legit just practice, but it takes getting used to. Start with really shitty scribbles and edits. That is legit all I did at first, small edits here and there until I figured out how to place my hand. It takes getting used to because you can't rest your hand on the screen, so the way you draw will feel extremely unnatural holding the pen unless you paint a lot, and use the end of the brush instead of near the tip. The best way to get the feel of it is to draw extremely basic shapes in your doodles. Hold the pen in about the middle to help with keeping your hand off the screen and also having better control instead of at the very end.
