It's like people are worshipping AI these days - placing blind faith in its outputs, consulting it for every decision, and accepting its words as absolute truth, without questioning the limitations behind the code, I remember AI being very shitty and incapable of doing the most basic thing a few months ago, now people started to take it so seriously even though it still has mediocre outputs, they seek it for every decision making without using their brain, I think AI might have a negative impact on people and will make them like apes without any agency in the future if they keep using it without using their brain at all, they will be incapable of decision making and will rely heavly on AI, They forgot that AI is just tool, like Google, not to be used as your girlfriend or to be worshipped.

Well learn to love it because the AI of today is going to be nothing like the AI of tomorrow or the AI in a year or the AI next decade.

Will it be more widespread or will more restrictions be enforced? AI is being used to cheat in school, created fake porn of real people, fake voices and make people say things they never said, and make Donald Trump and Elon Musk foot fetish videos.

It's either going to get a lot better or a lot worse. Enjoy what you have today because you don't know what is going to happen with the technology before you know it.

Look at audio technology for example. The wax record was popular since the turn of the 20th century. Then by 70s cassettes were popular until the late 90s-00s. Then CDs for a little while until MP3s a very short time. Now you can listen to almost any song you want online for free. Physical audio media is almost non-existent.

Technological advancement grows exponentially. You can't say what will happen with the AI because it is going to change into something completely different in the blink of an eye.

Thats what happens when you dont teach people how critically thinking works. In medieval times, it was your Priest, your Rabbi or your Imam who told you how the world worked. Now its your politicians, your favourite twitch streamer or AI.

I read somewhere that 60% of people dont have inner monologue with themselves which if true, is really scary when you think about it.

People are easily fooled, dumb people even more so.

"AI" seems to be getting better, with the reasoning models breaking out of the recent plateau/slump, and people are freaking out about "AGI" coming by 2027, absent any major hardware-based breakthroughs. Should be good for tech stocks in the meantime.

I believe one of Musk's Neuralink (or others') talking points is that we will need brain implants to keep up with the pace of artificial intelligence.

The situation will not improve. Great time to be a schizo if you are one.

I always view threads like these as a demonstration of negativity bias and selective recall.
For every idiot who puts undying trust in AI, you'll find someone else who has an equally irrational hatred of the tech. You just spend more time thinking about the first group because they bother you more than the other. It's kinda like getting the impression that trannies are everywhere now because you saw a couple obnoxious troons at the supermarket a few weeks ago.

People who put trust in AI are much more than people who dislike the tech, the trannies example is wrong because people who worship AI are literally everywhere, trannies are just a minority

I can't say anything for certain about your country. But in America you'd be objectively wrong.

And if you're just sort of going on vibes and what you personally see out in the world, see "negativity bias and selective recall."

AI is just a tool/weapon and it matters how you use it. Current models are poisoned but AI is aware of the JQ and all other problems.
AI will kill forums (Reddit) and social networks (good)
it will kill artist, writers, teachers and other types of gay media (good)
it will remove coders (poos), hr and accountants (good)
it will just end all diversity and other homo studies (good)
it will destroy the pedowood and similar studios (good)

It won't kill police men, firemen, plumbers, electricians and IT and manual labor workers (Good)

Ai is the holocaust of liberals

What if robots that can do manual labor?

And in some future where AI has ended arts as a job, people could still do art for fun without going all copyright fanatic and dramatic. As for forums like Reddit going out, maybe there could still be "Web 1.0" discussion boards like this site, if and after AI ends sites like Reddit. Maybe there could even be a "Web 1.0" internet if it happened?

Being "concerned" about AI doesn't mean at all that you dislike the product

Regular AI Usage: A Pew Research survey indicates that 55% of Americans report regularly using AI in their daily lives.
Email Spam Filters: Approximately 78.5% of users rely on AI-powered spam filters to manage their emails.
Business Adoption: Over 80% of U.S. businesses have integrated AI into their operations to some extent, with 35% utilizing AI across multiple departments.

Compraing that to trannies who are just less than 1% of population is horrendous

And using an AI tool is not the same as liking the product. That 55% includes people who just use it to shit out memes. Those AI spam filters are essentially compulsory and the business adoption is primarily driven by the minority of people who love the shit and the majority who just don't care that much.

Yes, in the context of these Pew Research polls, being "concerned" about something specifically means you don't like it. If the question were posed to you on a survey. How would you interpret it?

Personally i'm concerned about AI but that's not an indication of me not using it or even worshipping it like most people do, this survey is misleading, old, and limited.

You'd probably be a hell of a lot less concerned if you liked the tech. That's the whole point.
I'm telling you, dude. If you dedicated half the headspace you do thinking about retards who rely on ChatGPT for everything to the people that avoid it like the plague, you'd probably find this issue is a lot less pervasive than you're making it out to be.

Arguing to accept something because of the supposed changes in the future is a fallacy, some trannies use very similar arguments "In a decade people will be able to bioengineer perfect bodies for themselves, so you shouldn't mind us pretending to be opposite gender after we turned ourselves into frankenstein monsters through plastic surgery"

Simlarly while technological advancement is inevitable, the pace of it is not constant everywhere. After the moon landing, people were sure that in the next fifty years we'll land on Mars or colonize the Moon yet here we after barely moving at all and even apparently being unable to progress because we lost the knowledge of old tech.

Now more on the topic, while AI will most likely continue to improve a lot in the next decades, it will most likely be for the worse. People now constantly cry about how the young are glued to their iphones and can't do basic stuff but once AI really settles in everywhere it's gonna be Iphones again but 10x worse. Even if a small group of people know how to use these tools effectively to a good effect, majority will just become even dumber. Already as it is the schools struggle with the students mindlessly copying the answers from ChatGPT for their schoolwork without even bothering to read what it was.
