This got asked a fair bit during the Mignogna depositions some years back. IIRC the point is that you're not taking deposition with the judge present to rule on any objections, and even if you were you're not going to pause questioning and argue every single one, because that'd be a massive waste of time (just get them on the stand at that rate).
