At his core, he is lazy more than anything else and doesn't even have the energy to grift properly. That KCD2 4 hour video is probably the most effort he put into anything in his life and I doubt he even profited off of it that much. If it was about the money he would make the video half as long, release it when the game was still relevant and make minimal edits so it's mostly just his stream highlights.
