The concept of CVT’s is actually cool.. it’s just the actual implementation that doesn’t work.

Whenever two parts interact under motion, one is supposed to be softer than the other, and get categorized as a “wear part.” The wear part should be the one that’s easier to change out.

In the case of CVT’s, you kinda don’t want the chain OR the pulleys to be wear parts, but when you don’t pick one, they both are.

They should make the chains out of something a little softer, and make them easier to access and swap out.

Nope, people are just this dumb. People don't understand the way medication pricing works. It's entirely profit based and there's almost zero merit to any of the costs. It's all imaginary and for hospitals, that cost is doubled for no other reason than just because. Multi-level marketing should've never been brought to pharmaceuticals and it was a death knell from the moment it was introduced. It's all just fake n gay pricing like everything else. Made up numbers to drive line up because line must always go up, never down. You can't have line go down so line must always go up. That's why our medicine is so fucked up, every pays artificially inflated prices for everything so they all can increase whatever they want, whenever they want. Line must go Up. Not down. Just another fake and gay industry by a fake and gay economy.

RFK talking about the EO said the US pays per capita $1,100 for prescriptions, where in the EU it's $225. And if Europe raised their prices 20% they'd generate 10 trillion in R&D revenue (so they could raise prices 10% and still look good), that it's not on us to subsidize everyone else while also having our people suffer.

I'm glad RFK really is hitting the America portion more to make people realize it literally is US vs them, let the nationalism flow through you.

Even if you could still easily find a newer manual car, that's still a lot of potential added wear on the throwout bearing, and that's not something you want to have to replace

I wish the big orange faggot all the luck with prescription drug costs. Taking on both big pharma and big insurance at once is some Dark Souls tier shit and I hope it works out the way he thinks it does. There is no greater duo in regards to the strangle hold it has on the American economy. We're in a world where providers bill insurance companies insane amounts knowing the insurance will limit their payout anyways, so if they demand a ridiculous amount up front, it'll be a win when they still get a ridiculous amount, just not as much as before. It's like some weird ass version of the Art of the Deal.

Lets give our Type 1 Beetus bros a fuckin break.

Why I drive a 70s soviet shitbox. Leave the lights on, tomorrows problem. Leave the keys in the ignition and open the door, nice sound of nature. Actually leave the keys in the ignition, 0 worry of theft or doors locking themselves. Not enough oil in the engine, fucking dipshit, better not the next time. Or they could use mechanical CVTs with planetary gears like they do on tractors, harvesters and other agricultural equipment
