If isolationism is the goal, what's the purpose of cheering on clear foreign interference other than just sticking it in Israels eye? Is isolationism actually real or is it just a paper ideology that doesn't survive the slightest contact with reality

We don't all have to like it, but many of us can still enjoy the irony of it. You live in a world of double standards for Israel. Most of us simply don't. It's kinda funny to see Israel outplayed at its own game. You have no problems with Israel having influence, but when another ME state plays your game, and apparantly plays it well, you get all pissy and start crying:

"Why don't you get mad about their influence over your government?!?"

We aren't pleased. But the irony of the Jewish lobby kvetching about foreign influence in American politics after getting so angry and self-righteous about it when anyone dared point it out for decades....

With all this discussion on the South African refugees, I'm surprised that no one has recognized one of the left's old playbooks when it comes to persecuting their enemies. Basically, leftists openly plot immensely cruel things against their enemies, but if they're ever called out on it they take this "man up, cupcake" attitude, gaslighting everyone into thinking that anyone who complains is a big baby.

It's a pathology that, as far as I can tell, is older than any other in the leftist sphere. Since I was a kid I feel like I've seen leftists demand brutal violence against Christians, rural people, governmental employees, men, meat-eaters, and so many others. Also, for my entire life, I've heard about how those very people they plot against are big babies with persecution fantasies, always claiming to be the victims when they're the REAL criminals.

This follows that pattern: leftists look at pictures of these refugees dressed in typical suburban attire and use it as an argument that these are rich, entitled middle class people who've never suffered in their lives, and are thus unentitled to any pity.

Think about your own lives, Kiwis. How often have you been faced with a leftist accusing you of being melodramatic because you called them out on their genocidal intentions?

You have people who claim to love America and wanting other countries to stay out of America's affairs defending countries that are doing exactly just because the countries are screwing over Israel.

There's a big difference between what you say which is "lol kikes get outplayed at their own game" and what others say where they actively claim to be isolationist but actively endorse the interference. I called this out specifically in a post with a screenshot showing exactly what I meant.
