Couple’s therapy is often more harmful (imo) because of the bias therapists have. Therapists are often traumatized people trying to figure themselves out through other people, actors who failed, or both.

They carry a bias against one of the parties coming in— either believing the woman is being dramatic and the man is in the right, or the man is an abusive monster. You can take a guess as to which way the therapist goes based on their gender.

Adding to someone above, looking back on old videos, it really seems Ian is autistic, with some kind of “copy everyone to be normal” personality disorder, or just a by-product of the ‘tism. In the old sketches with Ethan, he’s often breaking his personal bubble, throwing shit on him, grabbing him, breaking shit in front of him, etc. He is incapable of understanding boundaries with himself and other people, or at least too autistic to realize it. Anisa understands this, and exploits this. They deserve each other.

I would buy a walk in freezer and start doing podcasts in there and with each episode lower the temp with a degree, I would have guests come one the show and see if their media training would hold up in negative degrees.
