In reality the wheels of the court bureaucracy aren't that fast, the PO filed a violation report and that report will make it to Bossman's lawyer, the DA and the judge.
They usually wait until there are multiple violations and then he will be hauled before the judge and it's possible that his probation will be revoked, it's up to the judge.

The BIG thing is that judges usually want to give someone chances in their teens and 20s to go to rehab, clean up and get their life together.
After 30 and multiple FAILED chances (like Austin), the judge sees them as a habitual offender who has no plans to change so jail time it is and chances and slaps on the wrist OVER.
