You have a point in this from a general perspective. I'd say theres 2 things that differentiate them

1) Null actually harnessed his inner autism and made something for himself i.e Kiwifarms. The whole site and his skills as a server owner are actually really good, running this whole thing on his own with all the hurdles he had to run through, no one can deny the dude isn't persistent and to some degree smart, at least for IT and networking with other people to help him with some of his business ventures, since this site I imagine similar to 8chan is a monetary blackhole save through donators since no advertisers will touch this place. Synth on the other hand outside of being somewhat witty and interesting in his critiques and having an ability to play and finish some video games that would make some people here consider doing a full DIY Lobotomy is not quite as impressive imo.

2) Synth is doing something similar where he fired at Null with little to no info on him just what chat was saying about Null. A fair few people were trying to escalate the situation and fed him lore on Null alot of it in bad faith or with 0 context. Its what caused Synth to snap and call him that to begin with. For all the accusations Null levies against people on MATI, a fair few of them are nuanced and with info gathered from the site, there are exceptions like synths segment and a few others, and he usually corrects them 2-3 episodes down the pipeline. Synth at least had the decency to try and apologize. You can say what you want about his words on Chudcast and afterwards, thats fair enough, but alot of it came from and was spurred on by Devin (and to a lesser extent Thomas) and he was actively trying to stop it for a while before he realized hes not going to get them to stop without just cutting the stream short, and doing that has its own issues.

I think Null is a fair bit more left leaning than Synth is but they share alot of views on things I think they both see as key issues.

I dont disagree with the comparisons though, it is sort of like a much less direct Jim v Sargon issue from my point of view, where both sides had their merits to it. Jim was right that UKIP failed and crashed and burned, but it wasnt just because Sargon and Dankula joined the party, the party was already hemorrhaging from within from Nigel and alot of their politicians wanting to join the Uniparty in every issue except Brexit at the time, and the naysayers slowly getting ousted. Jim had the full advantage of basically playing the Nihilist from the sidelines where doing anything IRL as a content creator like this is "gay" or dumb. Im all for laughing at the world burning around us but Im not gonna fault someone for wanting to try and fix it, that doesnt mean I cant make fun at how bad he was at doing it. In the end Sargon eventually recovered and went back to being a youtuber and made his own podcast, hes still 10 years behind on where his views ought to be but he has moved away from his original positions, and Jim is somehow still alive making livestreams and laughing at the world.

In the end Synth is a retard for calling Null a pedo in anger, Null was dumb to cover the thread after reading 5 pages of a 2 year old thread, Synth still did worse I doubt anyone wants to seem either side crash and burn, save a few aloggers.

When i first discovered it, it was just a plugin for Chrome and you would need to install it manually. Now there is Social Stream Ninja app it seems, and i don't know if Chrome store version of plugin is up to date, because when i was getting it, you would have to install it manually in chrome according to manual on a site.
Anyway, mine is manually installed in chrome.

Now after its installed, you need to keep Chrome working in background for it to work. By clicking on plugin icon, you can change various settings, that you can then copy paste in OBS to make a change there. I will show my settings in OBS section, so you don't really need to change anything except copy your exclusive link for "Streaming chat (dockable)" that will be copy pasted in OBS window.
Press toggle on top to activate extension. It will say "Extension active".

Now go to stream and make youtube chat pop-out. In pop-out chat window copy and paste link for it to Chrome browser and leave it like that.
For every new stream, the link needs to be changed.

Copy your exclusive link for "Streaming chat (dockable)" from Social Stream Ninja plugin and go in OBS.

First in Setting>Video in Base and Output Resolution choose 2400x1080 and fps 60 (or 30 if you dont want 60).
2400x1080 because its both enough extra space for chat to fit in and also will fully fill mobile screens.

I use Mozilla with "Youtube Livestream Theater Mode" plugin to better align chat. In the settings "Zoom text only" enabled and "zoom" is 170%.
Crop captured window so only chat is visible. To do that press and hold "Alt" button and drag side of window to crop it. After croping scale and align chat to the right side with mouse cursor.
For video you can make separate browser capture, but it will be upscaled and will look worse than original. For capturing missing beginning of stream and save quality - i import original video file and capture it alongside chat replay.
To do that
In "Sources" tab press + icon "Add Source" > Media Source, name whatever, press OK > Local File - choose video file and press OK.
Imported video file and desktop audio has different audio source. For them to not overlap - in "Audio Mixer" tab > mute "Desktop Audio" and leave video audio as is. Start recording and quickly play both Browser stream and Video file recording. Record until you reach desired part.

Its not perfect, channel badges and membership messages still visible and i dont think all the code is needed, but i dont want to tinker with it further.

Hover your mouse over it, press Right Click and select "Filters" > in "Effect Filter" tab add "Color Corection" > make "Opacity" - 75 and Close

Scale it down in to the right size with mouse cursor.

To show chat summary - highlight created ai chat summary tab by pressing it and then press "Refresh" button at top. Chat summary will show up for few sec.
To make show and hide animation - in "Scene" tab duplicate your scene by pressing on it with right-click and press "Dublicate". In the original scene hide chat summary.
Refresh Chat Summary in original scene and press second duplicated scene - chat summary will fade in. When chat summary ended - press original scene again and chat summary will fade away.
This is Chat Summary loop. Use any mouse movement recording program to loop it. I use Macro Recorder.
Custom CSS applying with delay unfortunately, so you need to wait 2-3 sec before showing it.
With every new stream pop-out chat link needs to be updated.

Setting > Output > Recording Format - .mkv
I prefer mkv because you can watch it while recording and also its still can be usable even if something happens (power outage, bsod etc).


Audio
Setting > Output > Audio - Encoder AAC
Setting > Output > Audio > Audio Bitrate - 128 same as youtube videos

Video
Setting > Output > Audio - Video Encoder - Choose Video Codec here. You can either cpu or gpu to encode. For cpu use x264 with preset that your cpu can handle. You can test it by recording your screen and moving windows very fast. If cpu usage is below 90% its fine, if its 100% then you need to lower preset. Higher bitrate also increases cpu usage.
If you want to use gpu encoding - x265 or av1 is more efficient than x264, but if you want to upload it to odysee, you need to convert it to x264 mp4 if you use them.
When i was using gpu encode for some time - it was lagging for some reason. At first it was fine, but then it started lagging and i couldn't fix it. So i switched to cpu encoding.

For x264
"Rate Control" - CRF
"CRF" - is quality. lower digit is higher quality, higher digit is lower quality.
Different presets have different bitrate for same values.
To find what value you like - cut from original footage stream 2-3 minutes of scene that you like to test and see how much it weights. Then record same scene with OBS and see how much your recording weights and then fine tune quality to your liking.
For preset "slow" i remember 25 is for quality (quality game) and 31-32 was for maximum economy (breakers) and everything in between. 27-29 is more or less balanced. You can stop recording to change quality and start again. Then with Lossless Cut merge it all together.
Recently i was just using "faster" preset with high bitrate at CRF 18 usually weighting more than twice compared to original file. Then i encoded that file for odysee and archiving separately to ensure that av1 has best source for encode.

To record just press "Start Recording".

The program i use to record mouse input to show and hide ai chat summary. Just start recording, stop and loop it for 99999 or so times.

Spoiler: Lossless Cut

With this program you can merge together pieces of video(with same resolution and audio/video codec. bitrate can be different) or cut it in pieces without encoding. Also it can repackage video file in different container (mkv, mp4, webm etc).
You can cut different games of stream apart and compress them with different quality settings and then merge it together again. Some games deserve higher bitrate, some lower.
I noticed that cutting feature with default setting is not really precise. But with "Shift all start times" by "+4 frames" in export tab fixes that for me.

Spoiler: FFmpeg Batch AV Converter

The program i used to encode h264/aac odysee and av1/opus archive versions. Press "Wizard" > "Create an encoding video preset" and choose video/audio codecs and settings. You can encode with cpu or gpu, but on low bitrates gpu usually makes video quality worse than cpu for same size, but much faster. For high bitrates there is probably no noticeable difference.
If you encode on cpu and encoding dont use all cpu cores, you can cut video file in two or more with Lossless Cut and use "Multi-file encoding" to encode 2 or more files at the same time. This will speed up encoding if you have free cores. You can also run several instances of program to make different setting for each and run them simultaneously.
For h264 i used preset "slow" with quality ranging from 22-23 to 31-32. 22-24 for quality, 26-28 balanced and 30-32 for economy (usually Breakers).
For av1 preset 9 is the way to go for streams. Its fast and produces good quality and introduces blockiness only with very low bitrate. Any cheaper preset is blocky and any better is considerably slower. For movies preset 3-5 is usually used. Preset 5 is twice slower than 9. 4 is twice slower than 5. 3 is twice slower than 4. Preset 5 blurs blockiness on low bitrate, 3-4 makes objects more defined than 5 on low bitrate.
Don't see a reason of using h265 if av1 with same speed can make more stable image with low bitrate (on cpu).
Audio recorded is aac 128, so i just copy it without encoding for odysee. For av1/opus i use bitrate of 80 for audio. Any lower bitrate introduced noticeable quality degradation.

I use this program in case if stream was privated immediately and i cant record beginning of stream with chat.
So i grab original file, cut it in Lossless Cut and throw that piece in Avidemux. There i use filter to change resolution from 1920x1080 into 2400x1080 by adding black bars. Its in "Filters" > "Transform" > "Fit to size" and choose resolution 2400x1080 and "Padding" - black bars. Video codec setting is the same as in OBS, audio is copy. Then i merge it together in Lossless Cut.

The problem is not even that he was simping for a woman, if he simped instead for a normal woman that he actually knew, it would still be lame, but it wouldn't be noteworthy, and only the people in his audience who are most similar to him would care, as he said "I don't know if I want to help this person get more popular." The problem is that he is simping for a professional Internet prostitute, which is completely pathetic and makes him look like an easily set off hypocrite lolcow, and it's going to piss off the people in his audience who thought of him as a friend. As for Debin's response to this, he probably doesn't know what actually happened because it is very unlikely that he wouldn't make fun of him for that. Or maybe he really does just hate his brother and was trying to hurt his reputation.

He'd probably have gotten away with it if it wasn't for him acting like a horny streetshitter in her chat afterwards. There's just no coming back from that.
For as much as Synth pretends to be telling the truth about all this he's definitely still misrepresenting the people critical of the Kirsche episode.

If I'm remembering the drama correctly Arkoo said Synth should go to church/find God to find meaning in life. Synth challenged him and in response Arkoo said he goes to Church weekly and coaches a local youth football team.

Synth got mad called Arkoo a liar and a pedophile and banned him.
