It's totally possible he was stealing information, including family photos for his sick and perverted purposes. The precedent is certainly there! Since the "master supa hacker" did it to that 13 year old girl, messing with her personal files, and even bragged about how he did it to other of his victims, too.

Even if it turns out to not be the case, you can never be too sure. BwE customers need full reassurance their information hasn't been stolen by this bastard son of a bitch.

Well as of now, all his accounts are gone, and his site is still down. I don't think it's likely he ever comes back under that name. He'll certainly come back, since these people cannot stop, so he'll come back under a different name and come up with a new way to get his "materials." That said, I do not believe this saga is over. Since his site is *technically* still up but is pulled with a pending "police investigation", it's possible he changes the message, or it goes down completely. Louis would need a victory lap in that case. Or YouTube could possibly grant the complaint and pull those videos.

Reminds me of the lead developer of GrapheneOS, Daniel, a very talented developer but also a maniac. Both of them could have made more money and become prominent figures in their fields. I think what Louis means is that if he weren't such a sadistic asshole towards his customers, his history as a convicted sex offender wouldn't have been flaunted for all to see.
