Firstly, I don't think a breakup with Anisa will do anything in his favor. Not unless he has damning evidence against her for being whatever all the schizoposters accuser of being routinely. If she dumps him and accuses him of bad things, he is pretty much done for.

So I am going to go over this with no mention of dumping Anisa as possible.

Ian could fix his reputation if he fucks off for a while. Like several months. Just disappears. Gets a life. Stop trying to clout chase and social climb with internet people. Even """the based ones""". He should fuck off, get a job, doesn't even have to be a usual wagecuck job, his latest CC didn't inspire hope but I think he could still be someone's editor or do something editing related. But he just needs to disappear.

When he does come back, he should sincerely apologize for his faggotry. An apology would be believable in this case because he had been gone so long without any influence from the internet world. If he wants to use therapy as the reason, there we go. But he would have to apologize for how much of a snake he has been and he would have to mean it. None of that gay shit he did before as an obvious attempt to suck up to lefties and twitch politics. But who knows, I did say this should happen months after all of this, I will be shocked if this is still considered an important issue to people online.

And then, he should just make good content. Doesn't have to be slurs. Doesn't have to be drama. He could even go back to the autistic squirrel stuff. No podcasts, no oversharing, no therapyspeak faggotry. If you want to rebuild into something less harmful, do it humbly and not like a self righteous prick. Show up on cold ones more, hell, if Ian did a proper comeback I think maybe him spending more time with someone like Max and Chad could make him normal and more confident. I guess now I do have to address Anisa. All I can say is that she needs a hobby that isn't skinwalking others. The only thing she had before Ian was streaming, and I just don't see the current climate favoring someone like her. She's no pokimane, she's no amouranth, she's no alinity, and all those ships sailed anyway because those ladies got their audiences when it was really poppin' and secured the parasocial bonds. I think Anisa and Ian shot themselves in the foot by building their reputation as a couple off of negativity and drama. If they could have just ignored people and done their own things, it could have worked out maybe. I guess the only thing that would fix that is thick skin. Ian would have to do what he couldn't at the start, IGNORE the criticism or just roll with the punches. If he really does love Anisa and all her retarded ideas, then he would just be like amicably 'yep that's how she is' and move on.

Unfortunately I don't think either of them, at this current state, will consider this route. They want the glamor of being ingratiated with Hasan and his spergs. And it's more likely Ian will build a new audience by doing breadtube shit. He will never rebuild his image, nor his dignity.

On the topic of a possible Ian redemption arc, i think you're all being way too optimistic. We've established he depends on others to skinwalk them and form his opinions and content. He's burned all bridges with old friends who could be a good influence and help him if Anus ditched him. Ethan and Max have wives, children in Ethan's case, successful podcasts, businesses, employees to take care of. Ian has disrespected them publicly.

Even if they forgave him and were on good terms again, i don't think they'd have the time or energy to baby this cucked manchild high off meds back into becoming an actual human being so he could stand on his own two feet and find his new career path. I do get the feeling that people who interact with Ian these days do so out of pity in hopes that they can salvage his reputation.
