That's his biggest lolcow attribute: He won't shut the fuck up. He's been searching for validation from online strangers for years now, and a lot have given it to him when it was totally undeserved. I mean it was one thing that he made that GameStop rant back in 08', but he went on to claim that he fucking invented ranting about GameStop specifically and even told his own mother that random YTers were "stealing his idea" like he was owed fucking royalties or something—I've definitely mentioned this before. It's just perfectly encapsulates how delusional the guy is.
Plenty of people were ranting about GameStop before, after, and during Robs rant. He’s just a narcissist who thinks the world revolves around him.

Rob really had a persecution complex when it came to other creators. This is why he was never able to network (besides being lazy). He viewed himself as being the only creator truly "keeping it real" and everyone else as being different levels of sellout assholes. A bunch of cliques he could never be a part of. High school all over again.

His insecurity and jealousy created a self fulfilling prophecy where no one wanted to associate with him. Which is why he never went anywhere.

Yeah, he "kept it real" all right. He stayed the same fucking person for 20-some years and expected people to just go with it. No ability to change or adapt to the current landscape. Nope. Let's just keep doing the same weak sauce tism schtick forever and get mad when people start to get sick of it. Get so mad that you nuke your fucking channels and call anyone who doesn't support your e-begging ass "trash that needs to be weeded out." Who the fuck does this guy think he is? Lmao.

Dude complained constantly that people never "shouted him out" all the time. The one Guru Larry collab and Mutahar talking about him multiple times wasn't good enough. No, they need to suck off the almighty Silent Rob every single video. Instead of working harder and being more consistent to build a following just bitch until someone throws you scraps. If he wasn't such an insufferable fuckhead and actually had ethic he could've had a chance but he squandered it by being the lazy douche he is.

In his case, the problem wasn't that people didn't shout his channel out—because they verifiably did. It was the fact that his upload schedule was so fucking inconsistent that the people who actually moseyed on over to his channel had barely any relevant content to watch. A lot of it was time-sensitive drama content that definitely wasn't going to hit the same months or years later.

I'm pretty sure Mutahar promoted the stream clip of Rob and Ani arguing over humans living up to 1000 years too, I guess Rob's idea of a shoutout is sucking his dick and shoving him down other viewer's throats every week.
Muta shouted him out at least a handful of times. More than plenty. Shouted out his channel mutiple times, showed a clip of Rob's Shenmue stream during his Shenmue video, referenced him a number of times but oh Muta never gave him the time of day. Well, Rob got his wish when Muta uploaded his exposé on him exposing him to over half a million people that his boss supposedly saw because he's a fan. Lmao, fucking idiot.

His absolute shit tier work ethic was definitely a factor in why he never went anywhere. No schedule. No consistency. Disappearing for weeks or months at a time. Making promises and not delivering them. Starting video series and not finishing them. Saying he's gonna stream and then not streaming. That shit becomes your reputation. Along with the endless petty drama.

If you're a successful channel, you probably don't want to shout out someone who isn't also a serious content creator. You don't want to your brand on some dude who is doing this as a halfass hobby and picking fights with people all the time. But Muta was willing to do that. What did he get for that? Jack shit as far as I can see. Rob didn't work to foster good, professional relationships with other creators. He expected his youtube acquaintances to just drop success in his lap.

You can tell he wanted so badly to be an overnight James Rolfe or Doug Walker but didn't want to actually put in the effort to achieve that level of success. Nope. All these "sellout assholes" needed to take care of wittle ole Robbie and promote his channel nonstop. He's been a bottom feeder from the very beginning.

I remember on his Encyclopedia Dramatica article it said that he actually tried to become a ThatGuyWithTheGlasses contributor at one point but of course they realized how low effort and shit his content is and made the smart move to pass on him. Just imagine Doug Walker and crew having to sit through submissions and Silent Rob's video comes on.

Man, I must've missed that little tidbit but that's hilarious. He would've never made the cut. Gotta do a bit more than point the camera at your face and talk. Dude was so low-effort at one point that he hired that fuckhead DrunkenPunk to sloppily edit his shit for him and then that went down the drain when Asa freaked the fuck out on Punk for going after his family...which Rob did almost immediately following this recent drama which makes you wonder why he even defended Asa in the first place.

I remember when Rob first turned on superchats he started acting as if everyone else was copying him by having superchats turned on. Dude was like a year or longer late to the superchat game and acted like he was the pioneer of it.

His videos barely have any editing in them at all. The most edits that come from Rob's videos are usually in between cuts and video game music layered over the video. Maybe occasionally you'll get some gaming footage thrown in but that's as far as his editing skills go. Surprising he ever bothered hiring anyone to edit for him because his shit is as bare bones as it gets. There's no real special effects or anything added in his production. Even if there was shitty Nostalgia Critic style explosion effects at least it'd be something. He really expected people to pay him to watch no effort videos that he can shit out in the span of a few hours without trying. Anyone can get on camera and make the same shit videos he does and would do them for free without expecting monetary return. I'm pretty sure the Action 52 video was the most time and effort Rob ever put into any project and just rode that wave forever without ever spending any substantial amount of time on anything else in his pathetic youtube adventure.

And that was in 2007. Think about how long ago that was and you'll start to realize how delusional Rob truly is. He never put any effort in after that. Never wanted to improve or adapt. Nope. A big ole pile of nothing. Lemme just turn on the camera and rant about menial bullshit for 20 years. Throw in a mixed bag of tard, tism, and weaksauce jokes for some cheap laughs. Then, lemme take those videos and charge $8 a month to watch them years later and tell the fans who are rightfully pissed that they don't deserve my content and are trash that needs to be gotten rid of. Yep, a true winning formula for success!!!

I can be fair and understand why he wouldn't want to do more edited content. Its a real uphill battle with youtube's algorithm, even for someone not as lazy as Rob. Streams were a much easier avenue for him, and they produced undeniably good results. He got good views and donations. He was lucky enough to have a fanbase that totally accepted the low effort nature of his streams. People were totally okay with him just hitting the share button on his PS4 or loading up some roms. They didn't ask for much.

But of course, Rob cant keep a good thing going. His laziness and sense of entitlement truly know no bounds. Even casual, amateur streaming ended up being too much work for him. Which is just fucking unreal to think about. Its just amazing how this dude derailed his own gravy train. It just shows he never deserved it in the first place. Ungrateful manchild.

This retard made hundreds of dollars in donations every stream but it wasn't good enough. I would kill to just be able to play SNES Roms and rack up money all day. He had it fucking made but threw it away because of his fragile ego. If he managed his finances properly he wouldn't be in the rut he's in. He could've easily just put that donation money away into a savings acount and he'd be fine but gotta have Arby's and Mickey D's for dinner every night and shoot up fent every day. Eventually Joe Savage won't be able to save his ass and he'll kick him to the curb like he did with the rest of his longtime fans.

One of the things Rob put the most effort into was the video making fun of that fat guy who died from a heart attack.

Also I guess we're supposed to assume he's either homeless or living with a family member at this point. No online activity since his house was apparently sold.
Imo, there's no way he sold that place for what it was worth. It looked like a dilapidated crap shack to begin with. Knowing him he won't do anything smart with the cash and just blow it on stupid shit until it's all dried up. I'd wager he's with his mom or with a friend rn.

The Silent Rob "Living in my Mom's basement at 40 years old" arc is about to go hard. We going back to 2007 bitches.

Knowing him we'll probably get a convenient excuse like, "My mom is sick guys. I gotta take care of her." Either that or he actually closed on some other crap shack in Ohio which I highly doubt but don't completely rule out the possibility.
