The sad part is the wiggers love annoyances. They had a way to turn off cameras and fuck audio/visuals for everyone else if you paid for it. I'm certain they were laughing their asses off and clapping like seals when people realized you could spam the car horn sounds during whispertank moments when viewers had their volume up
I try to watch the episodes of the s2 on the FT site instead of Youtube since there's some extra scenes in some episodes not included on the Youtube versions (mostly mild stuff like Ben covering Abi's exposed crotch with a Wendy's wrapper) but it's so fucking annoying trying to watch anything on the site because the chat makes noises and are always using other loud Fishtoys, and the site notifications that are completely useless and unnecessary are always blasting sound effects over the episodes constantly.

There used to be a work around where you could open the video in a new tab and mute the FT site tab. That was great but the wiggers updated the site recently in the past few months making so you can't open videos in new tabs. So they made it impossible to escape the sound effects. What the fuck are they thinking with this shit making videos nearly unwatchable on purpose?

Sam talks about how content made to be bad on purpose or in an ironic way is poison trash and I fully agree, but the same thing goes for content made just to annoy the audience. That shit drives me insane sometimes.

Um like um and, um, like. I will never understand what anyone sees in her beyond being a girl who played her role well on S1 of fishtank. She's so trashy and yet in the most desperately boring and uninteresting way. She's like watching paint dry in the parking lot of a strip mall with a Ross and a vape shop.

I understand the pessimism floating around but supposedly this sketch is good. We'll see.

As an aside, it is absolutely pivotal that Sam be the primary editor of Extreme Peace. Without Ruse I know that the camera work and visual style is going to be a bit lazier than WP, so Sam's gotta be as autistic as he was in 2012 and keep it extremely tight. My one worry is that it will feel more like a fan attempt to recapture the idea of WP rather than something that stands up to or surpasses it. This is the first real MDE project since WP, it deserves to be good.

The trailer leaned too much into the "WOAH HE WENT THERE!!!" edgy shock humor, but other than that it seemed like there were some quality bits in there.
I'm setting my expectations pretty low for season 2 because these kinds of projects usually don't turn out great without studio oversight, as annoying as they may be they do serve a function in keeping the artists on track.

I guess all I want is for like, half the amount of quality sketches as the first season.

Andy Ruse was essential to the style of World Peace (1) and a lot of older MDE sketches. Alex Schultz has taken over that role so the soul of the original will not be there.

I am not a fan of Alex Schultz' editing/directing style at all. I find it very ugly, loud, and aggressive. I think the coolest thing he's done is the Fishtank season 2 "fishbnb" trailer and even that is a bit too ADHD for my tastes. Also, he's extremely unfunny. One of the worst examples is the recent TMZ parody video which is full of random loud sound effects, fart noises, and graphics featuring literal shit. The way this trailer is edited makes it look like incomprehensible garbage. My only takeaway from it is confusion.

Sam has stated in the past that he plans on having two different edits for each Extreme Peace episode. One that's about ten minutes long just like the original World Peace and one that's about 20-30 minutes, featuring longer cuts of each of the sketches. I think he said he planed on the shorter edits being the Youtube releases and the longer cuts exclusive to the gumroad.

Of course Sam and the wiggers say a lot of things that don't come true but I hope they actually do go through with the two edits idea because I'd prefer to watch the shorter versions first to recapture the World Peace AS vibe but I'd love to go back and watch the longer cuts later.

Tried to post about World Peace 2 in the Sam Hyde thread then quickly realized I was still banned from it for daring to counter Null on the claim that Sam was saying "Kiwifarms" during a PGL podcast episode which set him off so I'll post about it here. The production value looks really good and I think it's going to be what people hope it to be. I have high hopes for it and I'm glad Sam didn't rush it. People were very upset it kept getting delayed but you really can't rush shit like this. As someone who used to dabble in video editing editing is extremely time consuming and it can take forever to get things just right.
