GiveSendGo for the Kiwi Farms 2025

I think this is an awesome idea. Worst case scenario, it gets major media attention if they shut down the fundraiser despite not backing down for the other two controversial ones, which helps bring a spotlight on the issue of payment processor bullshit. Should be a victory for the cause no matter what.

@Null might not be the right time since it could take away from this fundraiser, but assuming everything works well and you get the money, could GSG be used to fund the charity?
Also, with regards to what you said on the GSG page, I haven't looked at modern enterprise router hardware recently but at work we use a pretty high end epyc server with a good NIC running pfsense as a router (+firewall) and get good 10gbps speeds. Might even have 40G with QSFP+, idk I didn't set it up. Not sure if it'd work for your network though.

Swinging by to say that it's great to see that the goal was met pretty much as instantaneously as you could expect. It's a year of uptime and Josh had mentioned excess for hardware, but it really shows how much people are for this website remaining up. $18k is a weird number because it's a lot, but also not a lot if that makes sense. It's a nice number to look at and know (if you trust Josh, or really anyone's word, for stuff like this) it covers about a year so it puts into perspective the total raised relative to how much life that would give the Farms.

This is the most generous, inclusive, and diverse community on the entire Internet, and I'm not even joking. No other online community could do this, and it's all because of how much we appreciate Joshua sacrificing so much to give us a place to escape this gaynigger world for an hour or two.

What is the T&H Null was talking about? Is that related to the monthly site features you could get access to for $20?

True and Honest is the little badge you can get under your profile. It's a couple hidden boards a couple extra stickers, and the ability to mark posts so they're in the highlights on a thread. $20 one time via check/money order, this givesendgo, crypto or other methods but NOT MATI superchats since that's a different corporation/not part of KF.

The other project he's working on will be a monthly contribution to give even more features like maybe another sticker and the ability to feature a thread once a month(maybe) and an even fancier profile marking. I think he's still working on the exact perks.

do you reckon you can do that but make one for yourself, one for the kiwifarms subscription and one for USIPS? since givesendgo can literally just compile it to a check and send it to you

Furthermore, people can set "monthly" donations as a payment option so i bet you can even make it a membership/subscription thing, so we don't have to do all that check thing that only works in the US?

If they keep to their word about not deplatforming people, coupled with the fact they do checks, while it doesn't solve the USIPS still not having a bank, it *does* go a long way towards making this a solid payment system

I've been more accepted here than any other place I've been in my almost 30 years on the internet. It's really quite something.

I'm not much for hero worship but credit where credit is due; and he is due quite a lot of fucking credit.
The Internet used to be full of people like him, it's why the EFF was founded, but presently no one else has the sheer autistic bullheadedness to make their entire life about clawing back every bit of Internet freedom as possible.
I hope we break 100k.
