I found a new piece of the puzzle

Looking at the parcel map which I used to calculate the square area of the building, I just noticed the motel is literally owned by the Lithium mine which gives context to his seemingly random mention of Miners in his powerpoint.
Correction, there's no clear connection between Lithium Investment LLC and the mine.

Looking up the guy that is on the LLC paperwork he's some Nebraskan who made shitloads of money off of telecommunications systems in the 1980 and 90s and now lives in California.

No idea why the fuck he owns a hotel in the middle of nowhere Nevada.

I thought I quoted you in the above post but it looks I failed so late and gay: It appears you are looking at a completely different LLC than the one that actually owns that parcel.

That is an excellent counterpoint. He can't be completely unaware, though I still wonder how much Russ has explicitly told him. He uses "adult entertainment zone" in the emails, it's only in the agenda request and his powerpoint that he uses the word "brothel".

It also makes it even weirder that Huber wasn't taking the reins on the presentation to the council. He's local, Russ isn't. Huber's name isn't even on the council meeting agenda, just Russ, who risked botching the court hearing to do the presentation himself.

I wonder if the council is even aware Huber is involved? His name isn't on the agenda request, only Greer's. The listed requestor is Greer's defunct Intimate Dealings LLC, which Huber was not on. When Greer made the new ID NV LLC a week later, Huber is listed, but that wasn't the entity making a presentation to the council. As of May 6th, the only way they'd be aware of him is as a CC to those emails to the clerk.

Russ is trying to pull a fast one somewhere. Whether on Huber, the council, or the court, I don't know. Probably all 3. I still think he's trying to snow Huber somehow, until he needed to line him up as the money guy for the judge reviewing IFP.

Maybe that is the exact reason: He's local, it's a small town, he's married with at least one little kid at home (based on FB photos), and he runs an outwardly-respectable real estate company. Everybody in Winnemucca proper probably knows him. But you could be right, he might not be fully paying attention (but if that's the case, he's a piss-poor businessman).

And then backtracing that information, like we hackers like to do, finds that the address in Reno and names of the officers have quite a few other incorporated entities. Then searching a few of them find they own a fair number of random properties around the Reno area, and "Lithium Investments" also owns several other properties near that Winnemucca motel too. So I don't THINK they're in the brothel business, but I could be wrong.

So Bernard is a fucking redditor that watches CNN according to his 6 million public facebook likes

Can't find anything on Roger yet, but he was sucessful enough in 2009 his property was accessed at $2.2 million due to his documents kvetching about the county refusing to discount him $200k.

You'll find more appeals if you keep looking, I didn't make a note of them. There's one where there's like 4 appeals in a row for 4 different parcels owned under 4 different corporate names, but all the same guys. But none seemed to be brothels.

What properties? I checked the Humboldt county records up and down only thing on record for them is the hotel and the adjoining crackshack behind the building Russ wants to turn into a brothel.

The parcel has two addresses, 401 for the hotel proper and 346 for the crackshack.

Have you considered that Greer only had 400 dollars, and the defendant is trying to push him into poverty? I am sure the income statement that he will file under seal will bear this out and show how much of a meanie-poopy-head Hardin has been to make Greer pay to litigate the case that Greer started!
Now I wonder if Russ said "Yeah I can afford to pay the $400" because he already had that saved for the new LLC he was planning on registering (ID LLC is in the slides) but even after the Judge ordered him to pay it, he spent it on the LLC instead, knowing his protestations of financial hardinship will definitely stick!

Ok, sorry, I thought they were still Lithium Investments, they were one of the other shell corps.

I think it's really just that Russell was in baller mode. He was calling in to the court from Winnemucca. where he's LARPing as a big time real estate investor negotiating for the opening of his latest brothel.

So when the judge asks him, 'Can you afford to pay your filing fees or are you a raggedy arsed skinter who needs the charity of the state to take this case forward?' he just couldn't pull himself out of faux businessman mode to process the question.

Consequently, he was like, 'Afford it? Of course I can. I'm about to launch a brothel in the Winnemucca area. We're planning on opening just a couple of weeks from now. I'll be rolling in money and pussy. What's a couple hundo between enemies?'

Then, just a week later he's too broke to be able to afford to pay the $30 to get the documents that the court have insisted he needs to file. 'Mr Beadle, I'm just a poor little workhouse boy who can't afford to be suing ebil Joshua Moon. Please, Mr Bumble -- can I hab some more of the court's delicious gruel? Mr Hardin will pay, I'm sure.'

Send him to Newgate until he pays off his debts!
