Back when there was serious talk about re-writing the OP (probably never delivering that like Reinbow Brute) I dug this article up, pretty sure this is the piece that coined the term Comicsgate. The journoscum who wrote it was dreading a Gamergate Junior happening and thought it would tear the hobby apart.


Of course that is seperate from who used it first for themselves or who made the first Comicsgate content (Cummings or Ernst?) Meyer is still central to Comicsgate in most information about it online not written by EVS cultists.

So since I didn't know that Pedro Pascal has a "trans sister," I wasn't sure what this was.

I really do think he wants to align himself with the Hollywood Left, but I don't think he can when he has to make hate posts about people like Mags every so often. It's so sad.

I do not doubt that Zack does not care. That being said, money is tight and whatever peanuts he gets from EVS's cult is desirable.

By then, it was just strugglers trying to correct the narrative and failing. Most Gamergaters had admitted defeat and waited out the Anti-Gamergaters. The most relevant thing Gamergaters did was meme the incompetence and lies of the gaming journos and ruining their credibility with mainstream audiences and normies. Gamergate 2 latched onto that and was able to destroy the reputation of the sites and the companies that embraced the woke.

He’s like that episode of King of the Hill where you find out Dale used to eat bugs to try and get the other kids to like him, only to find out they thought he was a freak. Zack is ‘eating bugs’, praying some pro or exec will notice him.

Only thing is, at least the kids were paying attention to Dale for a time. Comic pro leftists don’t give him the time of day anymore.

A great many of Zack's dents are, for whatever reason, still under the impression that Meyer is "their guy" because they haven't yet heard him explicitly and publicly say "Fuck Comicsgate". Just look through the comments on his IGG campaigns and see how many of these clueless dorks still suck him off for his role in CG. Though Zack is retarded, he's just smart enough to know what side his bread is buttered on. If he were to completely disavow CG and Ethan it would be a disaster for what passes as his business, so he just doesn't say anything.

That's why I'm almost certain he's still seething about the CG reaction to him cucking to Mark Waid and that his BPC song and dance is an opportunity to ridicule and excoriate people he sees as fundamentally the same kinds of chuds who called him out for being a colossal faggot. He absolutely despises the audience he helped cultivate and sees the Zeroes as an exponent of that audience and therefore a suitable surrogate for his unspoken and highly homosexual anger at CG.
