It likely won't happen as long as his mom is around (and I hope she lives a long, long life; she seems like an extremely gullible but sweet person). She enables him HARD. I am /not/ a gambler but id say the odds his mom is behind him getting bailed out in the first place is close to 100%. She drives him to get crack, she gives him an allowance, she lets him live rent free. I’m starting to think that kind of love doesn’t exist in today’s culture. But I agree in your assessment of “mom”. But I don’t know how lawyers or a supportive mom can fix the legal situation.

That said, it seems paperwork is catching up to Austin, likely because the J&DR caught the failed drug test in March 2025 and violated him, and then the Circuit Court noticed the Domestic conviction standing so they violated him.

So if Austin didn’t relapse, would that mean the dad-slap wouldn’t make him violate his parole or was this outcome inevitable?

I’m not surprised cause I remember when Austin first went to jail for JUSTIFIED SLAPPING OF HIS RAT OF A DAD and many people were mentioning his car breaking and saying that he was going to jail five years. And then that kind of just disappeared? Like nobody brought it up again.

I could see the judge letting him go to jail for a month or so to impart a lesson to him; and then it will be the same routine, out again, do rehab, hit a record high and then off to jail again.

He seems to follow a pattern where a new winning record is almost a precursor to jail time/rehab.

And Austin takes it lightly it would seem - but that attitude certainly changes if he ever ends up going to prison instead. That would imprint a marked change in the boy I would imagine.

I wish I could see the look on his face once he finally realizes he's going to prison. He genuinely thinks he's getting 2 weeks.

If he didn't relapse the very first time after the initial arrest, the dad-slap would not violate his probation, as it would have been dropped upon completing the 2 year probation program.

And for the 900th time Probation = IN Lieu of Jail or Prison time and is pre-determined at sentencing.. Parole= Let out of Prison (not jail) early
