George W getting criticized regularly (rightfully so) isn't comparable to how Trump has been treated. It's not even close. Nixon had it way fucking harder than that pussy George W had it, and Nixon is probably the only President in the past century that's even comparable to Trump in the field of media smearing.
I wasn't aware there was even Bush hate since I didn't remember much about him growing up around the 00's and 2010's. Only thing I could remember was the family guy jabs at him. I do remember every Obama glazing. Around senior year in highschool was when I remembered TDS brewing when he announced his run for republican.

I only don't remember bush hate because of libs praising him after he shat on Trump. I don't remember Bush being hated to the point of several assassination attempts on him. Makes me wonder if they'll do a switch up (doubt) when the next republican president gets in office.
I remember how Bush didn't "care about black people" and supposedly left New Orleans to die because he was apparently responsible for all bad local/state planning when Katrina hit, and didn't immediately send in the national guard (because he legally couldn't, the governor had declined to request them). Which is an awful lot like the game plan they ran on Trump regarding Puerto Rico, minus Kanye West providing the soundbite.

Then there's the "Bush did 9/11" stuff, all the claims about impending theocracy, etc.

Most people probably don't remember anymore but the left had him in nazi regalia marching up and down as bad or worse than Trump. Any Republican is going to be called a Nazi and Hitler.
I recall there was outrage at Bush, but not to insane levels of cult-like SJW derangement against Trump in Current Year Clown World...

I think unprecedented "social engineerings" by the MSM and Big Tech may have something to do with it, using more developed techniques.

It’s the perfect encapsulation of how they argue. It’s a thought and argument terminating cliche.
I know the one you're talking about. It's usually involving John Oliver.

TAX FREE BISH!
THE RALPHAMALE WINS AGAIN WHATCHU THINK ABOU THAT BISH! IMMA GET ME A NICE GOURMET TORTA WITH ALL THIS EXTRA MONEY I HAVE NOW! Just gotta gotta find my wallet and phone in Tiajuana.

So nice of Trump to help a Mexican out like that. Even more ironclad proof than eating a taco bowl that Trump doesn't hate Mexicans.

Almost as if you want to take people's real concerns and then use that energy against the main group that threatens muslims, jews... while in the process also destroying the SECOND group that threatens muslims, the west... How convenient for muslims.
I'm not so sure this is muslim-driven, though they do benefit. I've said it before, and I'll doubtlessly say it again, but I'm firmly convinced +50% of anti-jew sperging on the interbutts is done by the jews themselves in order to discredit and make seem ridiculous their opposition.

its almost all boomers.
Most of the recent protest footage I've seen is almost all boomers.
The ones in my locale are almost an exact replica. It's kinda eerie that somewhere across the country has a protest that looks exactly the same, demographics and signage very similar. Very strange.

Ok I admit you and others saying Bush wasn't treated as insanely bad is true, but it was still really bad.

There was a ton of that. The main difference now, imo, is there wasn't as much social media that was easy to find and in your face you as now. There wasn't as much outright calling for Bush's death and things like Trump, but W and Cheney bashing was really unhinged too.

This has always been the case, it used to be common knowledge that the Democrats were the party of racism. It's wild how all of history's racism has been pinned on the Republicans when the Republicans historically have been the party of freeing slaves, desegregation, woman's suffrage, and Native American rights.
You are not going to pull that "Demonkkkrats r da REAL raycis!" boomer bullcrap in The Year of Our Lord Two Thousand and Twenty-Five. It is a fact that the Democrats used to be the party of conservative, patriotic, America First populism, while the Republicans were the party of gay liberal nigger worship. Nowadays, the Democrats are the party of gay liberal nigger worship, whereas the Republicans are... also the party of gay liberal nigger worship, come to think of it. But mildly less so. There is no functional difference between the Republican-established Freedmen's Bureau and Black Lives Matter.

You gotta at least have the decency to @ me if you're going to call me out here. :story:

This reminds me of a classic autism that always got stuck in my brain like a splinter, a classic old type granola and health liberal "Huh?" That always go to me was their constant bitching about the plastics and containers and linings in cans and not a peep about trying to re-popularize the perfect material to safely store food that doesn't stain or leech.

It's called glass, and it's borderline infinitely recyclable. You melt glass? You get glass. You melt plastic? You get toxic fumes and other byproducts and separation and some plastic back and it's a pain in the ass to recycle by comparison.

It really gets in my craw that there isn't more glass advocacy for food packaging and storage. But I guess it's also logically fallen to the wayside due to the fragility, weight and the fact everyone can't be fucked to even place glass in a pick up basket or return program to benefit. It's just a hippie dippie sustainability and food and body concious thing you'd think they'd resonate with that never seems to come up.
A lot of granola moms i know use glass baby bottles (and those reuseable ziplocks). Long story short, I have swept up many glass baby bottles at work because the baby in question decides that throwing its food source is the best game to play during meals (I don't know why infants do this, but nearly every child i know has tried to play "yeet the bottle" at least once). It's good in theory, but glass bottles are a bit more than they're plastic cousin and at least the plastic ones will survive accidentally (or purposely) a drop. Glass also isn't easily recyclable because the ability to do so [easily*] disappeared decades prior.
