It goes without saying but Zack has become the very thing that he was vocally against for half a decade.
It’s transparent coping. Zack doesn’t believe in grace, because if someone else shows accountability or humility and still maintains a fanbase, it undercuts the foundation of his whole angry guy persona. So instead, he says:
- Owning up to a printing mistake = “Admitting defeat”
- Giving customers a discount = “A bribe from a dying brand”
- Publicly addressing problems = “Proof nobody reads or cares”
But in reality? Eric took a hit and gave people something back. Zack, on the other hand, has repeatedly ghosted backers, had campaign delays, and offered nothing in return except excuses, often packaged with attacks on others. So if anyone looks desperate, it’s not the guy handing out discounts it’s the one who’s making two videos in 12 hours about a slightly misaligned double page spread while calling it the end of a publishing empire.
It reeks of projection.
"Nobody is immune from criticism" This is Zack’s favorite line. it’s personal fixation, laced with mockery, exaggeration, and relentless attacks. When you make two videos in one day about someone’s misprint that most people wouldn’t even notice, you’re not holding power to account you’re airing out your personal resentment and trying to turn it into content.
Every time someone reacts whether it's pushback, outrage, or even just polite disagreement he sees it not as feedback, but as validation. To him, it’s proof that he struck a nerve, that he’s the only one “telling the truth,” and that everyone else is too soft, too fake, or too tribal.
this will 100% embolden him. The more unhinged he gets, the more performative it becomes
the more entertaining for those watching the spectacle unfold.
