How much does a restraining order cost to get (I assume it just takes one letter from a lawyer to a judge?), and would it be appropriate for the KF bodycam fund to cover that? To avoid the collateral damage so to speak.

For creators I think one does not make sense. Aaron gets relevance from it and others think Nick is a joke. But for the Nanny it would be decent move...

Nick is worse because he was handed every advantage in life, had five children and then decided that making his pee-pee tingle was more important than enjoying the blessings he could never have earned.

Whereas Ralph is trash born to trash, in trash (West Memphis, Arkansas — contrary to what he claims). No one would ever have bet on him having a decent life of lawful employment and family-rearing. The presumption was always that Ralph would be a lifelong fuckup and he’s lived up to that expectation.

Ralph also doesn’t try to portray himself as some mensch who’s just misunderstood and has been wronged by everyone. Whereas despite everything he KNOWS we know, Nick still tries to maintain a façade of dignified father and charitable citizen who puts family first.

I'd love to see him try defend accusing a former employee of his of criminal conduct, which I am sure he never mentioned during the CPS investigation into the neglect and abuse that happened in his home.

There is no chance in hell Nick would get anywhere with this.
He should be happy if CPS does not show up at his house again and start another round of questioning of all his children.

Considering that by Tuesday morning KHHS (Kandiyohi [County] Health and Human Services) (CPS) had already summoned Aaron to their offices to be interviewed regarding Nick’s allegations, they seem to be taking it very seriously. That will likely mean speaking to the children.

Nick should have expected this when he started running his lying lips. But he is so overflowing with unearned hubris that he never played the tape forward to consider how his actions could possibly set a new investigation in motion.

Remember, this guy thinks he’s smart and has it all figured out. Kandiyohi County has upwards of a dozen employees who know better.
