He offered to collaborate with a female author from South Africa, then stole her story, changed a few things, and passed it off as his. She kept the receipts of him lying, deflecting, and attempting to buy her off and emotionally blackmail her, then filed an ethics complaint that bodied him so hard not even Pat could defend his behavior. He tried to lie his way out of it by claiming miscommunication and blaming his health, but then more people came forward to confirm that he'd fucked them over as well. SFWA kicked him off their board of directors, all his supporters disavowed him, and he got purged from a bunch of other projects and generally unpersoned. He hasn't published anything since 2023 and I doubt anyone on this side of the Atlantic is gonna be eager to publish him any time soon.
