I have mixed emotions about that, I hate telling people to leave a land their ancestors built, but it's harder still to watch these people get raped, and murdered. Ideally you pull em out, train em up, arm em and send them back, but not sure we would have the stomach for that.
There's no fighting for South Africa at the moment. The best time for that was decades ago, it happened, and they lost. The ones still living there are the ones that are resisting or think that nothing bad will ever happen to them and they're getting slaughtered wholesale over it.
South Africa is literally the buy a plane ticket and GTFO situation.

That impotent, "I don't know what to do now so I'm just going to take... this plant?" move after letting his dead-voice slip. Omg. I fucking hate them so much.
He was obviously fixing to throw the plant at her, but decided not to once the security guard showed up.

You really can’t escape your biology. When slighted, a troon’s (read: male’s) gut response is physical aggression- sometimes violence. Whereas with a pooner (read: woman), she’d immediately fold, burst into tears, and run off to write a lengthy, melodramatic essay on Reddit/in her diary about how badly she was triggered.

His response was so male-coded, it’s astounding.

Never thought I'd see a president tackle the White genocide in SA. Feels like waking up from the nightmare that was the last twenty years.
I had a thought today that Trump should buy the air time of TV stations like CNN and MSNBC and thus force them to air footage out of western North Carolina and footage of people in the US harmed by Biden-era policies. I wonder how the drones who watch these stations would react to that.

Sylvester Turner is the current representative, and the former mayor of Houston. Sheila Jackson Lee was the one who croaked.
Turner replaced Lee after she died, and then he died as well. The seat is currently empty.

Edit: different link because fuck Wikipedia

Say what you will of Trump, but I'd argue his behavior is more in line with the founding fathers than not. You can't tell me this isn't the exact same type of thing Ben Franklin would do if given the opportunity.
Yeah, Franklin could be a troll at times. If he were 20 years younger, he'd have made a fine POTUS; probably could have saved the Federalist Party from crashing and burning.

We need more term limits:
  • Keep the 2 4-year term limit for Presidents
  • 3 2-year term limits for Senators
  • 2 2-year term limits for House Reps
  • 1 25-year term limit for Supreme Court Justices
  • Mandatory 10 year turnover for all federal employees
Or something akin to that.
I think the President should be allowed a third term. Being able to possibly have a decade of consistentency would be useful.

My hottest political take is that for presidency, we should get rid of term limits for it. However, we should do 2 year terms. lines up with Senate and House elections
I see your logic behind the latter part, but the reason why a presidential term is 4 years is because it's halfway between the representatives' term of 2 years and the senators' term of 6 years, since only 1/3 of the senate is elected once every two years. It's the same logic behind making the number of electors each state has equal to the number of representatives + the number of senators.

Though if it were up to me, the Electoral College would give each state a number of electors in proportion with the square root of the state's population, since an exponent of 0.5 is halfway between an exponent of 1 (the House) and an exponent of 0 (the Senate).

They'd simply refuse. They are so far gone there's no amount of money they'd accept in exchange for broadcasting unedited content provided by this administration on their networks. I don't believe they're obligated to broadcast anything in particular just because you turn up with an offer to pay the going rate for ad space. They would mysteriously find "existing obligations" or some shit. Remember: you don't hate them enough.
