There are two bills right now bouncing around committee/amendments:

1. Hearing Protection Act - Removing Silencers from the National Firearms Act, aka imposing a extra $200 stamp tax and annoying paperwork for any silencer.
1. SHORT Act - Doing the same but for short barrel rifles/shotguns. A short barrel rifles is any rifle barrel under 16 inch and a short barrel shotgun is any shotgun barrel under 18 inches.

Goddammit, I just dropped $400 on these stamp taxes...
What's funny and ironic is European countries that hate guns with a passion encourage firearm owners to actually get silencers so they don't disturb their neighbors.
