Why the FUCK is he up at 4 in the morning? (Minnesota time)
When you stop drinking booze it fucks with your sleep.
Particularly if you were someone (like nick) who would booze and drugs it up until they eventually passed out/crashed.
On top of that he does take Adderall or whatever
Throw it all together and you get a recipe for really bad insomnia.
It's not really surprising he's up all night. His sleep schedule is probably completely fucked.
He must be absolutely miserable. Lol.

Is Josiah Munoz a hilarious play on names or a legit person?
nulls long lost mexican cousin, the taco mutt
🌮:null:

He's not funny, he's pathetic.

So both of his concubines are so mentally impaired, they can't memorise a few fucking numbers.
Are we sure they know the passcode to unlock their own phones?

It's uncanny how well he fits the profile. It's like reading an autobiography of Nicholas Rugieta.

Skelly's thread went so fast, we missed the anniversary of his promised 14 LOCALS streams.
It's been more than a year.
Where are those streams, Nicky?
Why its the 380th day of March he still has time.

Nick cannot say it was Chaney or Aaron's fault. If he does, it's Purjury.

He admitted to the court it was his drugs. Stating otherwise after sentencing can get him in deep shit, including False Swearing and Obstruction or Justice.
If it's purrrjury Nick can blame his feline delusions, there's enough documentation on the subject to build up a believable defence.

This nanny thing is so dumb, a massive self-own. If true, Nick is a bad father. If false, Nick is an even worse person.

And either way, it all reeks of a man flailing to gain control of a narrative because he's backed into a corner and seething every moment of every day.

Where did the old Nick go? Was he even real?
His visible short-circuit over why the nanny wasn’t immediately fired for gross misconduct was comedic.

No, Nick—she didn’t need to “stick around for a week.” Any country in this entire world allows you to fire people or at least put them on immediate leave for gross misconduct. If it is true, you intentionally let this supposed incident slip to suit your own hedonistic lifestyle.

Ironically, it wasn’t the alleged drunkenness that pushed Nick to speak out publicly, but the claim that she gave alcohol to children.
Was that truly the breaking point?

His comments about her employment are riddled with contradictions. She was supposedly an abusive alcoholic, yet she "abandoned" the family—as if her departure was a betrayal rather than a relief? It makes no sense

Why would he feel "abandoned" by someone he claims was getting drunk in his bed, leaving the kids vulnerable? That kind of attached wording doesn’t align with the outrage he’s now performing.

I think the relationship with the nanny was far too personal and over relied upon. I hope she has the stones to tell her side of the story soon.

If you'd asked me a year ago, I'd have said it was impossible for a middle class white man to get arrested for cocaine possession in Minnesota -- because unless you're dealing, nobody gives much of a fuck. And even if you're dealing, you've got to be so egregious in your actions that you make it impossible to ignore. Perhaps if they've got a target on the back of somebody higher up the chain, they might come after you in an attempt to get access to them, but generally it's like shooting fish in a barrel.
But when somebody decides you're a pain in the ass and they want you gone, all of a sudden, the kind of laws that nobody cared about somehow become important again. It's why nothing ever gets repealed.

So generally, what you say is completely true. Nobody cares and nobody would care. But if somebody important gets pissed off by Rekieta, all of a sudden, what is normal custom and practice tends to go by the wayside and it becomes important that we 'make an example' out of this guy.
This is just wrong, and it's kind of silly. Rest assured that plenty a middle-aged white man in Minnesota has ruined his life with drugs and addiction - and been criminally prosecuted for it. It doesn't take a target, or pissing someone off, or anything close to it. It's not a "personal" process, and though of course there's bias and money/representation matters a lot, nowhere is quite the caricature of "free passes unless you cross someone." Goofy.

Throw it all together and you get a recipe for really bad insomnia.
He just said - literally this week - he doesn't have insomnia. Which is, of course, different than what he's claimed before, but it's Nick, so truth is situational. I expect that he sleeps poorly for a million reasons and when he wakes even slightly he immediately gets on his phone because he can't not - he's an angry, pathetic, impotent man obsessed with making everything about himself, and he has zero healthy outlets, so he's in a constant, obsessively reactive state.

Should have been pretty clear back then just how unsustainable or broken his schedule was. Both long trial stream and then night streams where he heavily drunk... And kept that going for period. For anyone it should have been clear that something was wrong somewhere. Either in him or his life.

There were a lot of us telling him to drop the night show during trials, to go to a 3-4 night per week (with 1-2 day shows) otherwise, to do a live show on the weekends and make scripted content with staff, or something other combination of the above.

Nick ignored any suggestion that required him to put in any personal effort and insisted that we could not understand what it was like to be a successful streamer or father of five in rural Minnesota.

Nick's reputation isn't going to ruin itself. Nigger needs to earn that LOTY three-peat.

He is not in consideration, currently, and is in disqualified status.

He wanted to make the story about HIM! He was still narcissrically projecting with the lie to make himself sound better than her.

'Guyz muh nanny was so HORRIBLE! She fed MY kids alcohol! I LOVEZ them so much that I havee all this DRIVING to do that she helped with, so I couldn't fire her right away! What if the kids missed their fourth digereedoo class?'

It´s extremely clear for me Nick must be with cock in his mouth 24/7 to his own benefit for a myriad of reasons, pleasure related or not. Every time he opens his extremely retarded mouth to spit something that´s not cum he manages to embarrass/fuck himself even further. It´s quite impressive tbf....

Or a great way to violate a court order, because the texts involve Kayla.

It would be a really dumb idea for him to interrupt Nick while he is punching himself in the face.
Not sure if it’s been brought up before, but I’m convinced that the main reason Nick made a big stink about the “revenge pornography” was so he could maintain control over Kayla. It seems like Kayla opened up to Aaron about a lot, most notably Nick’s alcoholism. Aaron was also scheming with Nick’s “inkaws” to get Kayla some help prior to the arrest. Nick had to shut that avenue down.

Nick obviously doesn’t care about our wife’s honor or anything like that; Kayla and Nick seem like they are locked in a perpetual struggle to see who can humiliate the other more. No, the “revenge pornography” was just the perfect excuse for Nick to isolate Kayla and maintain his influence over her. It’s textbook abuser behavior.

As I recall his excuse was that he didn't want to "abandon" the night stream watchers who helped make him successful. I think more likely he didn't want to give up his easy excuse to not be around his wife and keeeedz. He would often mention how the trial schedule + night show only left him with a few hours to spend with them. Knowing Nickspeak now, that was him being happy with that setup. Him mentioning that slap fighting with Twitter randos at 4AM is "part of his job" suggests that's the cope he's telling himself, and his family, to keep that up. He IS a super accomplished social media manager after all.

The long, long pause where you can hear his perforated gray cells coming up with a lie is modern Nick in microcosm. He was often slippery with his words, but he was better at actually lying before he stuffed his second house up his nose. Remember his intern running his Twitter account when he was suspended?
Iirc Nick's decline had already begun when the Depp trial came around.
I had noticed that something definitely changed for the worse by the end of Johnny Depp. He was getting more sluggish, making early iterations of his non sequitur sex references, behavior overall becoming more erratic. It's interesting knowing he'd "leveraged" the second house that same month now.

But I think the overt change was starting before that, even. I had a friend watching Rittenhouse with me and he noticed it sooner. He hadn't watched Nick since early Weeb Wars. Immediately asked me what was up with him, saying he was a lot cruder and more arrogant than what he remembered. I think it was easier to ignore since there were just so many other (far more informed and interesting) lawyers coming in and out to commentate.

He claims that she called him drunk while she was on the clock at his house apprx a year ago, then she quit a week later, and only now his kids are allegedly relaying what she did a year later
That story is such garbage. You get a drunk call from the person in charge of your children, and the first thing you do (if you are a responsible parent) upon reconnecting with your children, is ask them for all the details of what happened. If the nanny was drunk, other bad things may have happened. Did she get angry and yell at the children? Hit them? Neglect them? Put porn on the TV? Have unauthorized people over to the house?

If she violated your trust in such a fundamental way, you would be worried about what other ways she might have violated your trust. And having been unable to protect your children from her drunken presence and anything that may have happened as a result, you would very much be motivated to know what happened so that you could help your children heal from those negative experiences, and also so that the nanny could be appropriately punished.

But, nah, Nick wasn't worried about all of that. Because he knew his children were safe because none of that ever happened.
Josiah Munoz was the name of the guy who fucked with Patrick Tomlinson, pretending to be a journalist to interview him.
If the pests have are developing an interest in Nick, then he is in for a world of hurt...

Liars often give themselves away in subtle ways.
Without wading too deeply into the area of behavioral 'tells' and eye movements that investigators use to detect lying...

(There are major caveats that include a person's baseline, psychological issues, medication etc. It's more of an art than a science.)

Nonetheless, they are used widely by LEO, psychologists, and interrogators. Nick's are obvious at this point. Here is a selection from the nanny story:

He looks up and to the right (dominant side) when he's telling ALL stories (true or not). But he does it A LOT when he's lying.

In the last screenshot his eyes are particularly exaggerated along with the head tilt. This is when he said there was no "untoward activity toward her".

And, obviously, not making any eye contact is very telling (every parent knows this).

This is when he said that they've contacted Chaney's current employer.

Funny, when he looks to his left (non-dominant side), it's usually when he's telling the truth or trying to remember accurate facts:
1747917927544.webp
This is when he is recalling how many live shows/week he was trying to do when the nanny left.
....

And, yes, he has a screen to his right, and most of us look upward to our dominant side when conversing. I chose screenshots where he's not looking at his screen and when he's doing it more than usual.

I'm not proving any big case here. I'm merely pointing out 'tells'. I like that Andy and PPP noticed some of this in their coverage last night.

Edit: Typo

No trial for five days, Nick is gonna get antsy

Hit the galaxy gas and fire up a stream
My personal microcosmic encapsulation of my understanding of the essence of Nick hinges entirely on this.

The bad faith “ugh look I’m doing what you suggested and it’s not working”

Nick, when people who still gave a fuck about you said you should go back to covering trials, it was implied/assumed that you would talk about the fucking trial instead of your personal drama, and that you’d have some passing familiarity with the cases, like at least to the level of someone who read an article or two about it, which is the minimum standard to even form basic fucking opinions

But the people who advised that thought you hadn’t burned out every last law-aligned neuron yet, and that some part of you might at least find high profile cases some tiny bit interesting

Nick without the background noise of the trial to distract him from his demons is going to be deeply amusing.

We might see some unintended new information, born solely out of his narcissistic attention seeking.
