There must be something in the water in Texas

You guys remember that latest SCOTUS ruling about the illegal gang-bangers Trump's trying to deport. How the SCOTUS smacked down the denial of the appeal and chastised the 5th circuit for not doing it's job correctly?
“Here the District Court’s inaction — not for 42 minutes but for 14 hours and 28 minutes — had the practical effect of refusing an injunction to detainees facing an imminent threat of severe, irreparable harm,” the unsigned order reads. “Accordingly, we vacate the judgment of the Court of Appeals.”
Well the chief judge for the the 5th circuit, some dude named Ho (a recent Trump appointee), agreed that he was indeed bound by the SCOTUS ruling to re-examine the case "with all due haste" as the SCOTUS ruled then threw serious shade at the SCOTUS for it's own ruling against him using ACB's ruling last month to show how biased the SCOTUS has been acting.
“This appeal should be over, “Petitioners denied the district court the opportunity to rule on their emergency motion in the first instance. That alone should be enough to terminate this appeal. But the Supreme Court has reversed our unanimous judgment. So this appeal must now proceed. I accordingly concur.”
Now Ho had some other opinions on the SCOTUS ruling to share:
...
we should admit that this is special treatment being afforded to certain favored litigants like members of Tren de Aragua — and we should stop pretending that Lady Justice is blindfolded.
“starting the clock at 12:34 a.m. not only ignores the court’s express instructions respecting the Government’s right to respond,” Ho continues. “It also ignores the fact that the Court is starting the clock at — 12:34 a.m. We seem to have forgotten that this is a district court — not a Denny’s."
He castigates the SCOTUS, ACB in particular, as she refused to rule on a emergency request when given only 9 days to do so but here the SCOTUS, in a cowardly unsigned ruling btw, throw shade at Ho for not ruling on something in under 14 hours but realistically he was only given 42 minutes as the request came in at midnight and as Ho point "the 5th circuit is not a Denny's" so he did not see the filings until 9am the next day.
Ho's concludes by saying
“I write to state my sincere concerns about how the district judge as well as the President and other officials have been treated in this case,” the judge muses. “I worry that the disrespect they have been shown will not inspire continued respect for the judiciary, without which we cannot long function.”
Based Chinaman.
Really Ho's concurrence opinion is pretty damning on Robert's court and is well worth a read. I never thought Chink's could have such a hard ass hide on them. Imagine being a just a lowly appellate judge and then slap back at the SCOTUS for fucking shit up and being biased.
edit:
a bit of background for those who don't follow us legal drama
During Covid a group sued the government on the grounds that lock-downs were restricting their religious freedoms after getting denied they did a emergency appeal to the SCOTUs and Amy Coney Barrett stated that 9 days is not nearly enough time to rule on anything so therefore said emergency appeal was denied. (the religious group would of course go on to loss their case of course)
So that's what Ho means when he's calling out ACB's statement that his court was lax and risked harm to people to it's inaction as nothing but pure bias. Ho was only given 42 minutes to rule on the appeal and then SCOTUS ragged on him when he didn't but ACB wouldn't accept anything less then 9 day for her appeal case so the hypocrisy is fucking palatable.
