It's actually a rather interesting window into his mindset. I always wonder if Chance's interest in other people's children is something he feels internally, and is too stupid to realize is really strange, or alternatively, if it is a cold attempt at manipulation that he simply doesn't realize people can see through.

This lends credence to idea that on some level this act is something Cyraxx does for himself, not to suggest that it's something done out of genuine parental affection, this could be some kind of element of a sexual fantasy. But it's something no one was supposed to see that involves someone else's kid, which leads me to believe there is some baseline pleasure cyraxx takes out of playing step-daddy.

I think it's something that stems from his upbringing with Sally and Gordon. I remember Gordon saying that Raxx didn't know Sally wasn't his biological mom until he was older, and he didn't know Gordon wasn't his real dad until he was 9. That's an insane thing to do, and would mess up any normal child, but this happened to a retarded one. He went from everyone being immediately related, to learning there was this secret step between everyone: his brother was his dad, his other brother was his uncle, his sisters his aunts, etc. etc. Then there's the thing from his cousins, about how he was weird to them in school, because he was their uncle, and they needed to listen to them. And there's still Sally's want for grandchildren, to be a real mom again, after the trauma of her children being taken when she was only 18. He probably picked up on that from her.

His whole view of what makes family, blood family, is fucked up from the core outward.
