I saw a critique of modern FO (FO3 and 4 mostly). It stated that bethesda didn't understand FO since they portray the setting as just a bunch of raiders squatting in ruins. Villages are dirty and exposed. People seem uninterested in tidying their surroundings, boarding up broken windows, or sweeping the floor. The video states it's because the devs seems to think FO is just nuclear apocalypse flavored mad max. But really, it's just because jeet devs are so used to the trash that they don't realize people would actually pick up after themselves.

Part of the appeal in making fun of other nonwhites is that they are polite society's sacred cows, and there's an element of excitement in being transgressive and actually saying the Emperor is naked; that's why the word "nigger" is the forbidden fruit of the English language. But pajeet hate is outright mainstream now since the masses haven't been groomed for decades into accepting them, and what few positive Indian role models they did have (i.e. Apu) were removed. Not even Social Justice types will go to bat for jeets since they have an actual rape culture and extremely hierarchical, oppressive, pre-history thinking that is entirely at-odds with everything progressive.

Don't confuse this with pity or empathy for jeets, but I think there's something to be said that their complete lack of social capital makes them less fun to mock at this point. There's no struggle, there's no pushback. Maybe I'm just a contrarian, but I like expressing my racism as more of an uphill battle.

Fucking this. What made New Vegas special was the fact that the 'raider' factions are still people at the end of the day. They want to live somewhere and make it work. Every 'Raider' faction in New Vegas act like people with their own ideals they follow. Unless you're a Fiend. Those guys prefer drugs and going ballistic. And very much fit the stereotype of a Mad Max styled Raider.

Its amazing how much stuff the Jeets find alien. I'm pretty sure to them, anyone not eating shit and drinking piss as well as getting crushed to death by moving temples is a savage. Fallout India would make for a very fascinating setting in general. A backwards nation already stuck in the dung ages but now have to contend with tech in fallout as well as a new world that has changed drastically when they have remained the same... probably Pakistan too. Seeing Jeetland deal with Super Mutants, FEV as well as China would be fun. To top it all off, the player character has to be someone from a more 'civilized' wasteland finding themselves stranded in Jeet hell.

Jesus fucking christ. FO3 was already bad enough dragging FEV and supermutants to the east, but reusing that all the way in india would just be stupid. Even if we forget that FEV was the product of top secret research that didn't spread out of mariposa before the bombs fell. Just how boring do you want the world to be. West coast? Supermutants, east coast? supermutants, other side of the worlds? Super mutants.

If you want to do it right, just start from the beginning. FO is a series that imagines a retrofuturistic vision from the 50s. They thought medicine was going places, with drugs that make you smart or strong. Computers would be everywhere too. But they would be the computers of the 50s, mainframes with CRT terminals. Because it is hard to imagine LCD screens if all you know are CRTs. To make FO: pajeet good, you have to do research on what an american in 1950 would think india in 20XX would look like. For example. China would expand (as they were the aggressor in FO1 and started the nuclear exchange) and try to conquer india. India would dump all their chemicals and nuclear waste into the ganges to create a giant moat. The result would be a giant no-mans land filled with mutated horrors made from human remains being cooked in radiactive chemical waste. The surrounding lands would have people gun down the horrors that crawl out of this toxic soup. The south of india could be industrial blighted land. They were the competition of red china as the factory of the world, but as the natural resources ran out their factories rusted away. Maybe they think that the nuclear war was vishna returning to the world, and hindu priests have a lot more influence now. You'd have a world of jeets squatting in dead factories ruled over by priest-kings that fight for scraps. All while the ganges spits out horrors.
You could be playing the second generation of colonial rear guard. Sent to reincorperate india into the commonwealth to serve as cannonfodder in the coming war. But you are left with no directions as communication with GB was lost shortly after the nukes dropped.
