A paedophile caught with indecent images of children and prosecuted under a male name has been given a six-month suspended prison sentence - as the court heard she now identifies as a woman.

Tree surgeon Sophie Louise Carter 'wrestled' with police to stop them taking her phone when challenged, a judge was told.

Two devices were seized and two category A images - the most severe kind - were found along with a further three Category B images and six which were Category C.

The now-separated 39 year old, of Lee-on-the-Solent, Hants, was prosecuted under the name Dominic Mark Carter.

However, her sentencing hearing at Southampton Crown Court, Hants, was told she now identifies as a woman and goes by the first names Sophie Louise.

Carter - who attended court dressed in a pink t-shirt and pink shorts and with pink nail polish on - admitted three counts of making indecent images of children in relation to the incident on April 3, 2021.

Judge Nicholas Rowland told her: 'The reason that children around the world are subject to abuse and it is filmed is because people seek gratification.

'People like you get gratification from looking at those images.'

Ed Warren, defending, said there was a 'history of abuse' in Carter's life dating back to when she was five which has caused 'some degree of trauma'.

He screwed up his probation and is now crying about being sent to men's prison.

A convicted transgender paedophile, who has finally been jailed for child pornography offences has complained of the 'distress' of being sent to a male prison.

Sophie Carter, 40, from Southsea, Hampshire, changed gender after being caught with indecent images of children.

Despite being a man known as Dominic at the time of his arrest - in which Carter is said to have 'wrestled' with police - the defendant appeared in court in August 2023 dressed in a pink T-shirt, pink shorts and wearing pink nail varnish, while going by the name Sophie.

Carter, who formerly worked as a tree surgeon, was found to be in possession of 11 indecent photographs of children discovered on two phones that were seized.

Two were Category A images, the most severe kind, with a further three being Category B and six classified as Category C.

After admitting three counts of making indecent images of children in April 2021, Carter was handed a six-month prison sentence suspended for 18 months.

In addition to this, Carter was told to complete 60 hours of rehabilitation activity requirement sessions and 120 hours of unpaid work.

But Carter has since appeared in court a further four times after flouting the conditions of the suspended sentence - and has now been jailed for six months.

Eve Shelley, defending, told Southampton Crown Court that Carter is being held in custody at HMP Winchester, which is a Category B men's prison.

She said: 'There are additional difficulties in terms of this particular defendant being kept in that male environment and that is something that is causing some distress and concern to her.'

At the hearing - where Carter was referred to using female pronouns - the court heard that the trans woman failed to attend appointments with probation and did not tell police of a change of address.

Carter was said to be living a 'chaotic' lifestyle after being convicted and had been made homeless.

The police found Carter was no longer staying at the address which had previously been registered after the paedophile called the authorities and pretended to have been kidnapped.

Hannah Douglas, prosecuting, said it emerged that Carter had changed addresses when they pretended to have been kidnapped and made a call to authorities.

Ms Douglas told the hearing: 'Ms Carter had sent a message so say that they had been kidnapped and held hostage... and demanded £140 to be released into a bank account.'

The prosecutor said police spoke to Carter throughout the day until they eventually arrested the defendant.

Ms Douglas said: 'It was found she failed to comply with notification requirements having left her registered address. We say it's a deliberate breach.'

The court heard Carter also failed to comply with a suspended sentence order and community order which had been imposed after the 2023 conviction.

This relates to the failure to attend appointments with probation earlier this year.

Carter pleaded guilty to all three offences.

There’s new information like her consooming cartoons and pokemon in a very chris-like way before her death march, and her struggles of getting redeemed saaar as a freelance artist. What also stands out are the parts that are extremely readable in comparison to the rest of the diary entries. These include the list of drills and favorite movies. Their legibility leads to my thoughts that they were meant to be read by “us” or read repeatedly by herself. Overall very gay.

Audrey E. Hale is was an FtM illustrator and graphic designer who decided to murder 3 children and 2 adults in Nashville, Tennessee.

Details are still coming out but police claim this misshapen parody of the human form planned this attack in advance and wrote a manifesto. Bets are still open as to whether this was a response to Tennessee's recent anti-kids-drag-show laws.

The incident occurred during the ongoing Antifa occupation at the ICE facility located at 4310 SW Macadam Avenue, which has been under siege by black-clad militants for more than two consecutive weeks.

According to an FBI affidavit, Federal Protective Service (FPS) officers observed Winters attempting to ignite an incendiary device next to the guard shack of the ICE building at 11:15 pm. When officers approached Winters, the defendant allegedly reached into his backpack and pulled out a large 1-foot knife with a curved blade.

Fortunately for Mr. Hudson, he was treated with kid gloves instead of being shot as appropriate when he threw the knife at an officer. He then pulled a butcher knife while they were arresting him.

Winters, who has expressed support for radical leftist causes, has a history of engaging in criminal acts of violence against police officers. He currently has an open 2024 felony case out of Multnomah County, where Winters has been charged with felony assault on a public safety officer, harassment, and third-degree escape, according to court documents.

Maybe this time they will keep him locked up for a while. But then again, with Portland's status as a neoliberal enema, maybe not.
