A Georgia mother nearly experienced the unthinkable when she found herself "tug-of-warring" with a man after he allegedly tried to grab her young son in a Walmart.

Caroline Miller was visiting a Walmart in Acworth with her 4-year-old daughter and 2-year-old son last week when the motorized wheelchair the family was using broke down in the pharmacy aisle. Moments later, 56-year-old Mahendra Patel allegedly approached the family asking for help finding Tylenol, the mother told WSB.

"When I pointed my arm out this way to say this is where it was, that is when he reached down, put both of his hands on Jude, and grabbed him out of my lap," Miller said.

Miller was able to "break away" with her son as Patel was allegedly holding onto the child.

"I pulled him back," Miller said. "We’re tug-of-warring."

Following the altercation, Patel walked away, purchased the Tylenol and left the store, WSB reported. The child was unharmed, police said.

Detectives were able to identify Patel by speaking with witnesses and reviewing surveillance footage of the incident, according to the Acworth Police Department.

Three days later, Patel was arrested and charged with kidnapping, simple assault and simple battery, police said.

"We were able to see the car he got into, and followed the cameras, and used our Flock cameras in the city and [were] able to get a tag number and track him down," Sgt. Eric Mistretta of the Acworth Police Department told WSB.

Patel is being held with no bond at the Cobb County Sheriff’s Office, according to online jail records. No attorney was listed for him.

"The safety of our customers and associates is a top priority – we are continuing to work closely with police through this investigation," a Walmart spokesperson said in a statement to Fox News Digital.

Despite the terrifying encounter, Miller is thankful that both of her children are safe and says the kids are now prepared for potentially life-threatening situations.

"As much as we would think it would never happen, it will and does, and to be prepared for when it does," she told WSB.

She says in a linked article that they were all on the wheelchair because her daughter wanted to ride it. So it was the store’s device, which is an asshole thing to do.
Entertaining children that the mother needs/wants to take with her to the store is a far more ethical use of the scootypuff than allowing a fat to avoid any and all physical activity.

Bullshit. That’s an Indian. Mahindra ain’t a Muslim name (Google literally says it’s the name of an Indian car brand) and half the corner shops in the UK are run by Patels from India.

No, Sir, that madarchod is Pakistani, several of them have taken Indian names before launching into crime sprees abroad, this must be one of them. Furthermore, the Pakistani criminal struck in the United States of America, where he was justly punished, not the Caliphate of England where it would likely be the mother sanctioned.

Fun fact, this man actually has a Pakistani name, not Indian.
‘Patel’ is a definitively Hindu/Gujarati name. Pakistanis have Arabic/Muslim surnames.
Any time you see someone saying SAAAAR THAT SAAAR WAS PAKISTANI NOT INDIAN you can guarantee you have a member of the street shitting online defense force on your hands.
EDIT: or a shitty troll with nothing better to do I guess.

Don't know if a separate thread was posted for this, but wow!

I found it funny that after a supposed failed kidnapping he continued purchasing the tylenol. I didn't think much else of it though.
I enjoy shitting on jeets as much as the next guy but... nothing in that footage supports the story told by the woman.

Did they edit out the kidnapping part?

So, I looked this up... and the Jeet's lawyer is going around playing selectively edited and released clips from the tapes, trying to litigate the case on tv, since he's very likely going to prison. Keep in mind the detectives had access to the tapes as well, and spent several days tracking him down, and the prosecution even put the case before a grand jury. They wouldn't being doing that, if nothing occurred on those security tapes.

The Jeet's lawyer, Ashley Merchant, who's trying to win the case in public opinion-

Below is a news story, where the police state that she's deceptively releasing clips and not the full encounter.

The Brief

    • 56-year-old Mahendra Patel is charged with Attempted Kidnapping, Simple Battery, and Simple Assault after police say he tried to kidnap a little boy inside a Walmart on Cobb Parkway.
    • Patel’s attorney shared surveillance video from the store that she says shows Patel speaking with the child's mother and attempting to assist her.
    • Acworth Police say they are aware of what they call the "partial video" that was released, but they cannot release additional details because this is an active and ongoing investigation.

ACWORTH, Ga. - A Cobb County man is in jail on charges of attempted kidnapping. His attorney says surveillance video shows he never tried to take the child, but was instead trying to help the mother.

Mahendra Patel is being held in the Cobb County Jail without bond. Acworth Police say that last month, Patel tried to snatch a little boy from his mother’s arms inside the Walmart on Cobb Parkway.

Patel’s attorney, Ashleigh Merchant, says the video she shared with FOX 5 shows that’s not what happened.

What they're saying:

"You can see where Mr. Patel enters the store. You can see where he first encounters Ms. Miller," said Merchant.

Caroline Miller can be seen in the video using a motorized cart. She has one child at her feet and another in her lap.

In the footage, Patel’s back is to the camera. Merchant says her client is simply asking Ms. Miller where the Tylenol is. She insists he was not trying to take the child.

"You can’t see this tug-of-war or grabbing back and forth. You can see him lean in, and it’s very likely he was doing what he said — which is to keep the child from falling," Merchant said.

Later, after Patel leaves the area, the video shows Ms. Miller crashing her cart into a display case, causing one child to fall. Another man steps in to help.

The video also shows Patel picking up the Tylenol he was searching for and showing it to Ms. Miller as he walks by.

"He shows it to her and she gives him a thumbs up," Merchant said.

Patel is then seen checking out, paying with a debit card, and speaking with employees as he exits the store.

"He’s not fleeing, not in a hurry, not running away, not trying to hide what just happened. You don’t see anything," said Merchant.

Acworth Police released a statement saying that while they are limited in the details they can provide in order to preserve the integrity of the case, they are "aware of the partial video that has been released to the public."

Merchant says there are approximately 70 hours of surveillance video. She says she released segments showing the interaction between Patel and the child’s mother.

"I tried very carefully to make sure all different angles were able to be viewed. Perhaps they could go back and watch all the surveillance videos and see," said Merchant.

What's next:

A grand jury indicted Patel on charges of Attempted Kidnapping, Simple Battery, and Simple Assault. He has been in jail for 27 days and has a bond hearing scheduled for May 6.

A huge drama group online was calling for this woman’s head a few days ago. The selectively edited video was being pushed around social media, I saw it in at least four or five places. Nothing but vitriol in the comments for her. I thought it’d been disproven as a hoax based on the little bit I saw but it’s interesting that he’s still being charged. I’m not sure what to think, I thought her huge smile during the interview was initially creepy.

Low-IQ deathfat on a scootypuff while she shops for this week's EBT/SSDI haul because she doesn't realize those wheelchairs are for the frail, not the whale.

Push over your local scootypuff-abusing fatty.

Anyway Daily Mail seems to have decided she’s a lying liar face.

Shocking outburst of motorized scooter mom who 'lied' about Walmart child abduction and got man jailed

But, after spending a terrifying two months in jail, Patel was released on bail this week after a judge watched bombshell footage that appears to expose Miller as a liar.

Miller, a mother of two, broke cover on Wednesday, appearing stressed as she went to a Publix grocery store in fitness gear.

She strutted around a parking lot pushing a shopping cart confidently and without the need for a mobility scooter like the type she was using when the Patel incident erupted.

Speaking exclusively toDailyMail.com, Miller said she 'tried to tell her story but it was "twisted" and [she] does not want to be part of the "narrative."

Miller's demeanor and unwillingness to elaborate was in marked contrast to the media tour she undertook while accusing Patel of the horrific crime.

She alleged that Patel attempted to take her son after he stopped to ask her where the Tylenol was, leading to what she described as a 'tug of war' over the child in the aisles.

Okay so I will confess I was searching for pictures of the Mom because I love me some Wally-Whale watching. Surprisingly not fat. ABC has this to say: (Archive)
Not fat, white, not crippled, hell I'm not even sure white trash is applicable. We lose on this one prejudice sisters.
So her daughter was just like can we go on the fun ride and she said "yes, let's go on the fun ride and deprive the next landwhale who needs it to shart in the mart". Unfathomably based, they should let her execute the hindoo by running him over with it.
