I'm a pretty left wing person, and so I don't have a lot of common ground with the "anti-SJW" community which are largely just conservative pundits on YouTube at this point (Sargon especially). The only ones I watch are HarmfulOpinions and AlphaOmegaSin, in fact. That being said, actual uber SJW's like HbomberGuy annoy the piss out of me. He pretty much actually is the caricature that idiots like Sargon say all feminists are. And I'll agree with TheAmazingAtheist on this, whoever told him he's funny is playing a cruel joke on him.
And this guy is like triple Z list at best, yet he makes over 2 grand on Patreon? I guess liberal upper class douche feminists do roll out the cash.

Per video? Does that mean he makes more than TJ per video? How did a guy with less than 70k Subs get this much? I guess he does have wealthy feminist donors trying to use him to further the cause? C'mon, hbomberguy is a lolcow now? I try to avoid the politics on this site because inevitably I'm gonna disagree with most of you but this is silly. Despite all the jokes he's always been pretty sincere in his videos and his arguments are well sourced and reasoned. I haven’t read the whole thread but most of this seems to amount to 'he holds political views different to mine'.
The only lolcowish behaviour you could accuse him of is his edgy contrarian opinions on apolitical subjects like his defence of No Mans Sky which boils down to 'it’s great because it immerses you in the feeling of being bored'. But attention seeking on that level is par for the course with internet personalities.
I avoid the politics here as well because I don't agree with the slant here, but Hbomberguy makes disingenuous, fact free SJW style arguments so I don't see how his material is "well reasoned". I don't care that he's "left wing" when he's still wrong. I'd probably agree with the guy on a lot of issues more than I'd agree with someone like Sargon or TheAmazingAtheist, but that doesn't mean I'll turn a blind eye to his bullshit.
But besides, it's not even his opinions that annoy me, it's that he's a really unfunny, goofy looking douchebag who thinks he's above all the drama when he makes his entire internet life about it. I mean the guy made a blocking app because he was butthurt by seeing TL;DR and HarmfulOpinions in his recommendation feed.
With the exception of Aurini, none of the people he talks about are alt right and the alt right are hardly the only people to use that term (they didn't even originate it). Sargon isn't (he made an entire video criticising the alt right), Thunderf00t isn't (Thunderf00t didn't support Trump or Brexit). It's just a way of lumping everyone he disagrees with into one camp.
Eh, Sargon may have said that, but he pretty much comes off like a Breitbart writer at this point. Thunderf00t though is a funny case, because he had racked up so much SJW hatred with his feminism videos, and now has racked up massive hatred from the alt right for his Trump videos, to the point that a lot of the SJWs like his new videos and are confused that someone they disagreed with doesn't fit their profile of who they hate.

Was linked to a few of his videos in the past, but even then I could tell that he was a goon just from a small handful of videos. Goons are the only people who could be this upset over petty SJW issues like mansplaining or how Pewdiepie is a somehow a Nazi, while simultaneously act so smug and aloof like they're too busy to care. Can't stand this type of goon humor where they're always trying to hide behind sarcasm and irony. If you're upset over people making fun of internet feminists, just say so, you don't need to preface every rant with how you're too cool to care about anything like some sort of nihilistic teenager.
This is the same guy who has to tell people how he had to hold off for 4 months from uploading a 15 second video because he cares so little about Sargon, but then proceed to upload like 3 more takedown response videos for Sargon's videos. He clearly cares about defending Anita Sarkeesian, he cares about people making inappropriate off-color jokes, but he's so afraid to admit it so he just ends up coming off like a disingenuous coward.
Yeah this is common with SJW's on YouTube and social media. Because being an open SJW crybaby is frowned upon, they have to pretend to be "above this" while making dozens of videos on this and making money off of it.
Also, something to note about Hbomberguy, everyone who seems to like him considers him "precious" or "an absolute gem" as if he's some kind of valuable jewel not to be tampered with (even if he makes a regular post or a standard point anyone else could have made), any reason for that?
Probably because they realize most SJW's are total jokes that only their circlejerks will take seriously, and they see this guy as the exception. Ironically he's even worse than most, and I do watch a few SJWs I admit

Hope this isn't too off topic, but weren't the politics in the prequels one of the most derided parts? I guess because it was literally reducing politics to grade school black and white "good vs evil" bullshit that even Hideo Kojima wouldn't touch is why Harry liked it.
