Advertise KF so that they can use it too and put this site into the mainstream. Mainstream will probably eventually suck, but maybe not and it would be kind of awesome for this site to become 'big boy' like The Underground, SA, 4 chan, Reddit, Kiwi Farms. The kiwi logo and address, lightly splattered in light green rotating around videos.

We do not want or need mainstream attention on this website. The more eyes on Kiwi from the mainstream means more people trying to shut the website down.

I randomly got the urge, now I fucking hate what card processors do to Josh. I now can see the evil, evil people do every fuckjng day of their lives. Don't act like because a new user won't immediately start helping and donating and keeping track of shit doesn't mean they will never be good, active users.

Essayists poaching the farms for content by itself isn't the issue, but the fact that they do so while pretending like kiwifarms doesn't exist to reduce the site's exposure and engagement and deny it traffic.
So on one hand they are happy to utilize the crowdsourced intelligence apparatus that the site inadvertently creates, but they also want the site to die in silence and not risk doing anything to prevent that.
The age of people pretending like kiwifarms doesn't exist is reaching its end and that is a good thing. This isn't fight club. There is nothing wrong with namedropping kiwifarms and speaking about the site in a positive way.

The NiggerMark Idea is just to fuck with people. There's positive reception about having SlopTubers doing the Goy Dance for users if they want to access the unedited footage for their hit exposé videos.

All of the people suggesting archivers use kiwimarks for "advertising" or whatever fail to realize that "Kiwifarms" has an even worse connotation on the internet than any slur in the dictionary. A sloptuber is not going to see "property of kiwifarms" or the kiwifarms logo and go "aww shucks, guess I have no choice but to give these guys free advertising!" they are going to painstakingly go through the same amount of effort to remove it just as they would for a giant scrolling NIGGER.

I am against the whole idea of watermarking in general, first because Reddit did it and no one should ever follow in Reddit's footsteps, and two because I feel like deliberately tampering with our own archives goes against the core tenets of this website which is preservation and free information. But if you guys want to fuck with sloptubers then just stick to niggermarking since at least its funny.

If you believe in archiving, then you should also believe in not watermarking it for the same reasons. It's not your content. You can't gatekeep it.

You could also make two versions. A public version that's niggermarked, and kiwimarked version posted in one of those purple blocks only viewable if logged in. Now essayist need to advertise they have an account to post the no another armed version.

Okay it’s a neat idea, there’s just the small problem of every piece of media needing two unique copies. That effectively doubles the space needed to archive something locally and because of having both a niggermark AND a kiwimark it cannot be deduplicated due to the files being unique.

I think a better solution would be to apply a server-side niggermark on upload. The raw content would be uploaded as usual and anyone who downloads it that isn’t the ooperator or on the janitorial staff gets the niggermarked version.

Of course, if clickbait slopfarmers want the safe-for-normies version, I’m sure 1776 solutions LLC would be happy to take a donation.

It’s just a thought that expands upon my previous idea in the BMJ thread.

If you include a niggermark then they won't show the footage but they'll still talk about it without citing sources and refuse to acknowledge us. Forcing video essay people to tacitly admit they researched info on the farms would be much more effective.
