That’s because the likes of Game Dungeon are filler for Freeman’s Mind. Two degrees of filler if you will.
 
That section about zoomies expecting multiplayer games to be killed was depressing. There is still games from the 90s, niche ones too, which are not only still playable online but are a lot more active than you would think. But, all of a sudden, the modern gamer just accepted that a game's multiplayer mode is going to be active for maybe 2 years, if not less, then it dies forever and that's normal. Little wonder so few people care about dead games.

I can't necessarily blame them when that's all they've ever known. Consider how many franchises have yearly releases that effectively makes the old game impossible to play as everyone moves on to the next, from sports games to Call of Duty and the like. That really seems to have started in earnest about twenty years ago, so zoomers have grown up in a world where it's normal for a multiplayer game they like to eventually peter off and die. It's stupid, but I see where they're coming from at least.

The video does a good job of illustrating the scale of the issue, so hopefully that helps with any potential future regulation. Considering the EU petititon still hasn't even crossed the halfway point with only about two months to go, barring some miracle, that avenue is likely going to be closed. But at least there are still other options that continue to be explored.

Even games without a yearly entry have the average skill level of the player base rise to the point of being impenetrable. You're not going to have a good time trying to pierce the veil of a Day of Defeat: Source server, trust me.

If the petition didn't even cross the halfway point then it's dead in the water. Too bad, but I find it interesting how many votes came from /pol/ACKS.

Unless Virtualbox becomes illegal and archive.org gets nuked from the orbit then I don't care much about the service model. Competetive multiplayer games are naturally that as the audience moves on every year or two to the next big thing. Back in the Stone Age when Pentium III bragged about its blast processing power of 600 gHz you still had DOS around which made abandonware games a pain in the ass to run, and 3D graphics were still new and acted as a self-advertisement in game rags but at a certain point the graphics/CPU advancement just... stopped. Industry had to make up an artificial scarcity scheme to keep demand up.

The worst I've had to deal is shell maybe 5bux in a mobile timewaster to shut the ads up.

I think a more accurate assessment is his fanbase is so WIDE and hes otherwise so non political, he attracts everyone, even antifa tranny fucks.

Don't forget scott cawthorn FNAF was popular AS SHIT for a long ass time, but then people lost their crap over him donating to trump. I don't even like fnaf but, similar idea, every kid liked it as "spoopy chucky cheeses game", but when it came out as right wing, many were upset.

Similar thing. I suspect hes conservative but just keeps sperging about it to an ABSOLUTE minimum

Besides it's not being our business, she's very private. She's a Polish neet but besides some dumb Final Fantasy memes (otherwise being funny/porn) she's not involved with Ross Scott and his content at all.

Nice try, I looked that up the other day via one of the A&N stories mentioning Poland, and it appears all "Anti-LGBT" zones are shut down and the current government is far left, pro-troon and pro-fag. Pro-jeet too. "Based" Poland indeed, explains Ross' wife behavior. Despite being a neet, she probably votes(unlike Ross).
