I've only read Umineko's VN so I don't know what the manga and anime are like (or his other works), but if that official manga art from that tweet is anything to go by I can't really defend him much either yeah... Depends on which Lolicon camp you're seeing it from:

- Conservative types are there for the "submissive" aspect along with the traditional ways in Asian culture (even though they're not really that Conservative in practice). A lot of MGTOW also crossovers here too.
- Libertarians typically are the ones for "Youthful" looks.
- Progressives are there mainly for that Androgynous-aspect that exist to a certain points with Asians.
