Fuck, you have no idea how many direct reports or overt bosses I had with backgrounds in software primarily that were the dipshit progenitors of "Well its 7 cents a line of code there and I have to pay someone 75,000$ a year here to make less lines of code than the other guy will, Baljeet your Hired!" type shittery that made me lose all long term hope for our cyber infrastructure.

On the other side my actual co workers and peers were among the smartest people ive ever known and I get to say as a result I was part of building some INCREDIBLE networks and nodes within them that qualify for their own version of art if you ask me, only to be MANGLED by the upkeep of the cheapest bidder. I know what im complaing about is such a obscure and esoteric issue but those who are in the same field will know what im talking about, we just outsourced all the maintinece, upkeep and even customer service of the software end to the worst people you can fathom, you have no idea the sheer gut punch it was to work so hard to build these systems and set them up safely, securley and most importantly in a way that works for the client only for the first "hiccup" to be addressed by a near mudslinger and the blame will eventually fall to you and your team cause everyone knows shit rolls downhill.

Used to love tech so much nowadays wood types, bird watching, and homesteading mean so much more to me.

I love that so many people are openly talking about (and recommending) just fucking ignoring these idiot judges and carrying on anyway. It's entered the mainstream consciousness and I don't think these judges quite understand how dangerous that is. This is "jury nullification" on steroids, and judges already hate nullification. They should be scared shitless that the public at large is losing its willingness to respect and obey the courts.

All it takes for a district court to become utterly toothless is for its city/county police/sheriff departments to stop enforcing its orders. If these judges keep pissing everyone off like that, they're going to discover how far their gavels go when there's no guns backing them up.
