Two Israeli Embassy staff members were shot and killed during an event at the Capital Jewish Museum in Washington, D.C., on Wednesday night, authorities confirmed.

Tal Naim Cohen, a spokesperson for the Israeli embassy in the capital, confirmed to Fox News that two diplomats were shot "at close range" during a Jewish event at the museum. The American Jewish Committee confirmed it was hosting the event in a post on X.

"We have full faith in law enforcement authorities on both the local and federal levels to apprehend the shooter and protect Israel’s representatives and Jewish communities throughout the United States," Cohen said.

Fox News confirmed a man and a woman were both killed in the shooting. Further details on their identities were not immediately available.

Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem said DHS is "actively investigating" the incident and "working to get more information to share."

"Please pray for the families of the victims. We will bring this depraved perpetrator to justice," Noem wrote on X.

The Metropolitan Police Department said a shooting investigation was underway near 3rd Street and F Street Northwest, which is where the Capital Jewish Museum is located.

Danny Danon, Israel's Ambassador to the United Nations, said an event was taking place at the museum and the deadly shooting was a "depraved act of anti-Semitic(sic) terrorism" in a statement posted to X late Wednesday night.

"Harming diplomats and the Jewish community is crossing a red line. We are confident that the US authorities will take strong action against those responsible for this criminal act. Israel will continue to act resolutely to protect its citizens and representatives – everywhere in the world," he wrote.


Fox News Digital has reached out to DC police, the Israeli embassy and the Capital Jewish Museum.

There is nothing wrong with a Jewish Pan-ethno state I think it's a beautiful thing. Nothing wrong with a European Pan-ethnostate in North America (ideally east coast). Nothing wrong with ethno/genetic cluster states in the old-world. We all have our own backyard allotted to us by God/cosmic order.

Palestinians often have partial Israelite ancestry just like caucasian/west eurasian Jewish ethnic groups. Palestinians probably serve as a cautionary tale for why you should avoid genetic and cultural decline. That it's worth being persecuted and not trading your birth-right for lentil soup like the Palestinians did when they converted to Islam.

There is no Jewish race, correct. There's a Jewish pan-ethnic group. I only consider West eurasian/caucasian Jews to be genuine Jews. Israelites were southwest asians, who are of the west eurasian sub-species. They weren't chinks or sub-saharans.

And yes that's true, Palestinians often have some Israelite ancestry. But the Caucasian Jews also have some Israelite ancestry. And the average genetic profile of the caucasian Jewish pan-ethnic groups is very similar to the genetic profile of modern SW asians.

The cosmic order/god does not give two shits about identity, only genetic make-up for being indigenous to a region of Eurasia. And the Jewish pan-ethnic group fits that bill living together in Israel.

The Jews aren't an invasive population. They are genetically valid as well collectively. Palestinians have the genetically valid solution of going to Jordan, but in classic backstabbing SW asian fashion, they blew that opportunity.

The answer to the Palestinian question is to mass deport them to Jordan, and let their brethren decide their fate. If they act up, then they get put into the ground and serve as a cautionary tale.

Besides, we all reunite in the end. They can be resurrected with the "tree of life" assuming we manage to build it. Either way, when we die, we will always return to the same interim that we were in before our birth... And we will be reborn out of that interim eventually. This will happen in perpetuity.

No it wasn't. The upper echelons of Soviet politics began and remained vastly disproportionately Jewish. Jews also had the privilege of legal emigration from the Soviet Union. If they didn't like the Eastern Bloc, they could legally leave. More than could be said for Eastern Bloc Whites.

Note that Germans and Hungarians deported by communist authorities from Czechoslovakia, Poland, and Romania were deported to elsewhere in the Eastern Bloc. The only legal ways to emigrate outside of the Eastern Bloc were:
1. Be a Turk in the Balkans and emigrate to Turkey.
2. Be a Jew and emigrate to Israel.
It was really convenient for Russian Jews to emigrate to Israel and subsequently emigrate from Israel to America or Western Europe. That's exactly what happened.

It was so much more convenient (and safe) than for Russians to leave that I even have the anecdote of the family of a non-Jewish Russian friend of mine pretending to be Jewish in order to make use of the privilege in the 1980s. It is the reason that so many "Russian-Americans" are Jews.
