I'd be curious to see the surgical report and doctor who preformed it when he was a kid. Wonder if he has gotten any consults since 2015 as there have been advances in tissue rejection and nerve technology since then. He has to have some nerve movement otherwise he would not be able to breath, move his jaw or tongue at all, meaning he would be dead, but alas.

Revisions exist in spite of the fact he has 'no' cranial nerves. He would require a ton of imaging for blood flow, scar tissue, and nerve function during surgery to test the revision.
