So if the body cam footage was not presented at trial, then its not "evidence" and isn't entered into the public record?

Because MNDES doesn't mark these items as received.

So if April testified, then the footage would be used...

But because we had a plea bargain, there wasn't a trial, therefore this isn't considered evidence into the record, therefore you can't get the footage?

What baffles me is the most likely reality is that the county covered for Rekieta while he publicly accused them of planting evidence. How much power does his family actually hold in the town/ county?
In small town local elections, success is heavily dependent on name recognition and local connections. One family donating to help reelect a sheriff can be a big deal when the election can be swung by relatively few votes. It doesn't even really take that much in such small towns. But if this were really a handshake deal as part of the plea deal, that's a whole different issue implicating the ethical duties of the state prosecutor. It could be a serious problem for the prosecutor to promise to hide evidence from the public in exchange for taking a plea deal. The state authorities might take such accusations quite seriously if ethics complaints were lodged.

>Those Summaries? Yeah they're all lies from a vindictice pedophile named Josh Moon
>Why don't I release the footage to prove they are lies? Because I don't want people online, like Josh Moon, seeing my children because they are all pedophiles.

Just repeat ad infinitum.
Would even the wine moms and mods like Ryan the Editor drink that Kool aid?

If you look through his old streams, go year after year and you can see him degrade. I did post an image showing the decay, even Kino Kasino and a few other YouTubers stole it (unfortunately it wasn't nigger marked).
It reminds me when we had the DARE program as kids. The cops passed out this flip book of a pretty girl and as you flip through the pages you would see her looks deteriorate the more heavily she got into meth addiction.

Honestly, them pulling this shit against a person with the means to get this to the appellant level is retarded. They're going to get exposed.

They don't have qualified immunity for something like this. Null could get major damages here if they actually deleted it.
At that point, they are going to weigh the question of “how much is this bodycam footage worth”? If their answer is greater than whatever money they would lose in court, then they will have no problem “misplacing” the footage.

Would even the wine moms and mods like Ryan the Editor drink that Kool aid?
They already are. Nobody sane should be defending him before the summaries even came out, so I don't see why this would change any of their opinions or get them to decide NOW is the time to not believe him.

You can submit evidence for various purposes outside of the trial, and the evidence becomes part of the record. And there are plenty of times when evidence is submitted—like at trial—without being particularly raised in testimony or argument. Usually it's when a bunch of evidence that might be used is admitted by stipulation of both parties. So I don't particularly buy the argument that it wasn't made part of the record when it was submitted as part of a pretrial motion. But maybe Minnesota has different rules than the federal system.

I am in agreement with those who say they are doing this because they went relatively soft on him. Especially by letting him skate on the child endangerment charges. The body cam clearly reflects badly on Nick, but also the county attorney.

I don't believe (yet, anyways) that his family bought anybody off. I think this is just how they do things in Minnesota in general, and candy ass county in particular.

Based on what K and @Tiki Bar Man 2 wrote (which I 100% believe), that house seems like an absolute horror show and not a safe place for children at all.

In fairness, I am wondering whether the lower ranking people like Pomplun (and other deputies) are pissed over this too. I think street cops... those that actually have to wade into this shit... tend to be bigger hard asses than political hacks like the Sheriff and CA.

Can someone fill me in here?

What ever happened to Nick's (and his family's) relationship with Doug TenNapel and his family? I have been wondering about this since at least when the Balldo came out, but I haven't heard about or read anything here in all this. There was a period in time where the families were very tight, costreaming, costreaming at each other's houses, vacations... I remember Doug specifically talking how great it was, how lovely lady Rackets and the kids were, how great the family was.

Doug seemed very stubborn and committed morally, so I was always curious what happened.

When the charges came down, Doug TenNapel was all nice-nice to Nick, wished him well and nothing bad to say about it. It was oddly similar to how Doug buddied up to Preston Poulter (comicsgate-adjacent) after Poulter's life in cuck porn came out publically. In some sense, Doug has this weird belief that if anyone is being attacked or ridiculed for having done anything bad, Doug must as a christian rush to defend them and befriend them.

Watching Doug over time, IMO he is neither as stubborn or committed morally as he presents himself as being. He is a "Hollywood" guy in every sense of the word. I also find him rather manipulative of everyone who comes around him.

He also does these odd combinations of fanatical personal stands on some issues while on others he expresses almost passive moral relativism. He is willing to make an almost suicidal personal stand against gay marriage in front of his hollywood friends but then he associates with druggie people and cucks with the attitude "who am I to judge".

I'll put it this way. I don't dislike doug and I think he is a great artist. But I wouldn't trust Doug.

Ralph not losing his 5k.
Believe in stupid meme -system had backbreak to give null L.
Null has to actual say nothing for stuff happen.
You already know nick trying catalog every message to strengthen his case for seal of the body cam.

I have questions about their eldest son. The little kids I understand not really being able to do anything about this, but he’s a high schooler.

I can’t imagine not doing more for my more siblings. So I wonder did he snitch, is he fucked up too?

Or did he also partake in the drugs and booze.
PLing a bit in response to this because I'm so MATI at what these kids were living in that I don't give a shit:

I grew up in a home that was very cult-like. My parents weren't swinging druggies, at least, but it was very very insular and "us vs. them", and what we're learning about the Rekieta household is reminding me very much of the attitude in my immediate family. As a kid in that environment, you normalize a lot of shit because the authority figures in your life say it's okay - in my case my mom was the fount of all knowledge and was not to be questioned, like how Nick seems to have a similar role in his family. When there was physical abuse, we obviously deserved it. I didn't even really see the emotional abuse (of myself and my siblings and my dad) for what it was until I started dating my now-husband in my early 20's and began hanging out with his family and realizing that oh, my house isn't normal at all. What I grew up in is really fucked, actually. Any independence from the family hive mind was met with ridicule and mocking, and once I saw there was something different out there and began making plans to move, it got nastier than ever before. Fortunately Mr. Sniper was from a different part of the state, and when I left it put a good bit of distance between me and the family. Getting out was almost like being born again.

It really wouldn't surprise me if the oldest son was just so used to living like this that it hadn't clicked just how bad things really were. I would bet that Nick is the absolute authority in that house and that any deviation from his word is unacceptable. Everything is fine and normal because Nick says it's fine and normal, end of. I'm hoping the kids have somebody outside of that house who can help them understand that what they live in is not acceptable and that there's a big, bright world out there where the oldest son doesn't have to be a parent because the adults are useless and Dad isn't drunk and/or high and screaming at their mother or random women on the internet all the time. They deserve so much more.

LOL dude there was a murder in a town I lived in over a decade ago and the cops fucked up the evidence so badly that it's still an open cold case to this day. Nothing happened to them. They'll face no consequences for deleting the footage.
