Personally I think this is why the daughter's hair tested positive for cocaine. To me it seems more logical that she was at one point laying in bed cuddling her mom with her head inadvertently on the coke pillow than it does that she actually took cocaine.

There’s just no fucking way a pillowcase with coke is enough to spike her test result to the level of a weekend user. The test only works for cocaine metabolites, which requires cocaine to be ingested and broken down by the body. These metabolites are stored in the hair. It does not happen from contact. They wash the hair strands before testing anyway.

Minnesota is one of the last holdouts against cameras in the courtroom. The bench and bar have been opposed to it for a long time and it is deep in the legal culture. The forced switch to Zoom court because of COVID pushed that back a lot, but deep down, it's hated. As an example, look how hard they went after Ethan Ralph.

Bodycam video isn't the same as courtroom video, but to an Early Gen X/Boomer judge, they feel a lot alike. So I'm not surprised that old animus toward courtroom video has influenced SJW to try to shut it down.

"Should be" is not a synonym for "is." Unfortunately, Minnesota is virtually the opposite of Florida, which has the "Sunshine Law," which should be the national model for public records laws.
