If my memory serves me well, the girlfriend in question is an actual woman. I do applaud her though, being mentally strong enough to tolerate that for 6 years is no small feat.

Ronnie has been saying these things for a few years at this point as far as I know. The scene despises him for it, especially because FIR is huge. Redditors can't stand it, since bands like Stray from the Path who preach lefty shit (they literally have a song named 'Good night alt-right') are not even close to that level of popularity.
