While true, I wonder if when the useful idiots think of working class, they actually view themselves (retail workers and email caste) as the working class, rather than the (I think?) intended definition of working class which is the blue collar and manufacturing sector jobs, which they are so isolated from either because they don't see it on social media, or because so much of it has been offshored that they can't even comprehend it. Similar to that graphic that I think was parody but talking about how the laptop caste is actually the working class and not truckers.
Marxists have always been academics whose only "knowledge" of the working class came from theorizing about them. Any time they've encountered actual workers, said workers' failure to embrace Marxism has always been met with contempt and hatred.

I'll admit, that meeting Vance had with those Indians soured me a fair amount on him. I know that in some ways the focus on illegal immigration is more important and has better effects than H1B fraud, it still is something I can't let go of. Trump has already done a ton of work cracking down on it as much as he reasonably can, so I hope I don't come across as Coutler-ing when I say this.

one more thing, I’ve noticed that YouTube has started to shove ads for games that are basically soft core porn down my throat for like a few weeks now. And the Games themselves are are always the same. Pretty and appealing characters trapped in a game which basically no gameplay that forces you into paying 80 bucks for a skin. and the worst part is those hardcore gamergaters will defend these types of games because pretty anime women, even if those games are just as predatory and lacking as any other micro transactions riddled games.
That's the "gacha" genre -- an entire genre of games that are "free to play" and usually not "pay to win," and the focus is on squeezing cash from whales by time-gating progression (with an offer to buy out the delay with real cash) and, like you mentioned, selling skins (or rather, selling tickets/tokens for "rolls" for a chance at getting a skin).

They make billions of dollars a year. It's fucking ridiculous. Genshin Impact alone makes more profit for its developer in a year than fucking Nintendo makes on Pokémon. And yes, it's all about cute anime girls, usually with big tits and admittedly delightful jiggle physics.

The average gamer hates gacha, but there are untold hordes of chinks, gooks, nips, poos and other assorted to make those profitables

edit kill me i thought there was another post inbetween

It's a little horrifying to learn how Congress, the elected body that's supposed to make the law, has ceded that authority to unelected bureaucrats and judges. They no longer face the need to make any decision of import (and possibly get voted out); the judges and bureaucrats will do that instead! If We The People mald, Congress can simply point out it wasn't their fault- it's the bureaucracy!
Being a member of Congress is now an easy celebrity gig. Get enough people to like you in a popularity contest and you now have a six-figure job, healthcare, security, access to media, access to powerful people, access to resources to help keep your job via election war chests and the like, and all you have to do is blame the president or the judges when you don't do your job. If the country collectively voted to fix Congressional salaries to the national median wage, forced them to use the same healthcare plans as the rest of us, banned PACs, forced all of them to get audited every year, and started holding these fuckers accountable, we'd probably see an improvement in Congressional opinion polls.

As it stands now, many members of Congress are lazy assholes who don't want a real job. They spend more time cozying up to other party members and DC money than doing what their voters ask. The worst ones are the fuckers who basically pay nobodies to show up at town halls and make it seem like everything the politician wants is what their constituents want.

Oh dear. I like what Glenn Greenwald does in his channel, but now I can never watch him without seeing him in that position... in those clothes... in that way... and still take him seriously.
Yeah, same here. I enjoy his journalism, particularly because he tends to wear his heart on his sleeve so you're not playing 20 questions trying to figure out the guy's motives or why he reports on things in a particular way. But I wasn't even remotely surprised when it launched. Startled, I guess, yeah, like I didn't expect to see that. But not surprised he did it or was involved in that kind of thing.

You get to witness a very special behavior here - one you don't get to see that often outside Reddit.

The ongoing civil war within the left has been raging in the background for quite a while now, and normally we think of it in terms of the different subfactions of the mainstay left - the Progressives and their profusion of useless tagalongs, the outright socialists, the anarchist clowns who even other hard leftists thinks are morons, the ones that are basically left-leaning libertarians but don't know how to vocalize that, the few remaining oldsters trying to help the party reform, and the absolute bumblefucks running the DNC and mainstream press to name but a few.

On the local level is where things get nuts. Reddit helps cultivate extreme echo-chambering - well beyond what you'd expect on a website covering lefty political discussions. The end result is that they often make the likes of ResetEra look subdued by contrast, because they constantly are testing the boundaries of acceptable online behavior in an effort to collect updoots. This shit is a fucking nightmare for whatever poor sod has to tard-wrangle these clowns, because they will basically fedpost continually if they think that's what will get them the most e-cred. All it takes is one idiot going too far and dragging along the other clout-chasers for them to have an outright wave of actionable threats made online. So the mods have to scour this shit off pretty much constantly, and even then they miss specific ones constantly.

The thing is, while the updoot-chasing mongs are a common commodity, the rest of the users within that particular bubble also fucking hate them. They see them as drawing aggro when one doesn't need to, alienating would-be new members, and frustrating those who genuinely want to see their community build and grow proper. You see similar fracture lines in other hard-lefty communities as they lurch ever to the extremes, alienating more and more of the non-crazy element, but in this rare case, the moderatorship is actually basically forced to side with the proles on this, even though they much more align with the crazies poltiically.

What all of this means is that you're going to see them constantly start breaking into outright infighting around the margins as even within these communities, you see them break into camps like "maybe we should rebuild our coalition" and "maybe we should address why we lost" rubbing directly against the ride-or-die types. It's surreal, but also really funny to watch in real time.

forced them to use the same healthcare plans as the rest of us,
Yo, cool it with the fed posting. Half of those bastards are already on death's doorstep. If we forced them to use what the rest of us get, we'd have to elect a whole new congress by year's end...

It takes my breath away that Congress passed Obamacare with the exemptions for themselves. At least the GOP said Obamacare sucked. Democrats straight up lied.

The basic problem is rebuilding the coalition means dropping messages that alienate the people they're losing, and they can't do that. They have nailed their balls to the mast of a ship that is taking on water by spending the last few years declaring that everyone who isn't fully on board with "trans kids" is a Nazi. They've already put trannies in the government and done victory dances over it; they can't scale that back now.

[W]ith the Trump administration dead set on yanking most US funding to the United Nations, the world body is being forced to adapt to a constrained new fiscal reality…

[UN Secretary-General António] Guterres is seeking to eliminate 20% of jobs across the UN Secretariat, which employs some 35,000 people, and to make a 20% reduction to the UN’s regular budget, which covers essential programmes and administration costs, and is currently set at just under $3.7 billion for 2026.

Chris Cuomo says illegal aliens kiIIing American citizens like Laken Riley is an “artificial issue”

Laken Riley will never have Thanksgiving dinner again with her family, I have a feeling they'd argue that losing her wasn't "artificial."

BUY HIGH, SELL LOW!!!!

If every immigrant was like Werner Von Braun we'd be on Pluto by now but that's simply not how things work and to pretend otherwise is ridiculous at best, malicious at worst.

It's like Sam Hyde mentioned in his video response to Musk when he had his H1B spergout, we're not gonna get the next Einstein from India and have him working at 7/11 and the big point "Why isn't China cashing in on infinite Indians?" because the Chinese know it's all a big fucking scam that western powers are using to make their GDP go up while turning their native populace into niggercattle. Chinks already have their people subservient so they can skip that.

It takes my breath away that Congress passed Obamacare with the exemptions for themselves. At least the GOP said Obamacare sucked. Democrats straight up lied.

Still makes me mad that we had a chance to kill that bullshit but Songbird McCain had to stomp in and fuck America over one last time

Worst part for the Left is that they aren't used to tard wrangling their own. They are used to fedposting without consequences. It's been biting them in the ass hard lately- just ask Hasan. The Turkroach was one step from getting Anally probed at the airport lmao.

I'm fucking tired of rightoids that act like there can be any way to stop this other than gutting and hanging people like this in the public square.

If We The People voted to do that, they'd find excuses not to implement them. The rot is deep and Congress is only the most visible symptom. We would need Donald Trumps and DOGEs at every level of government to not only truly understand the scale of the rot, but to purge it.
