I too believe Nick was genuinely put-together, mentally stable, and a good dad and husband before the Imholtes and the coke. There probably was a latent personality disorder that hadn't manifested yet, but addiction and hedonistic lifestyles change a lot about your personality and your judgment, and tend to push responsibilities aside.
Nah man. There were always signs that he was a POS.
The animal abuse… The excessive drinking… In retrospect the fact that a lawyer would have time to sit and stream all day and night instead of spending time with family should also have been sus.
I believe Kayla cleaned up his image for a while. Made him quit swearing and promoted himself as a family man. (Kayla at the time was of course trying to be a Christian woman. Reading her Pinterest from back then is heart breaking?)
But Nick isn’t Nick because coke ruined him. Nick is Nick because he’s broken.
Fucked from the start, cursed with a personality disorder and terrible parenting. Further fucked by never having to actually work for a living.
Based lawyer dad was (mostly) a LARP, and we fell for it. But if it makes you feel any better, so did his in-laws and community.
Nothing can fix him. If he took a DMT trip and experienced ego-death, he’d try to fuck the machine elves with a balldo.
If he had an actual come to Jesus moment featuring the good lord himself, he’d start arguing with Christ. “Well what do you know, Jesus, you’re a carpenter you don’t know MY life!”
Nick is now beefing with both sides of ComicsGate lmao

It’s time to ring up the big bad black comic man for a reconciliation!
Ethan may be a bit of a cow in his own right (Not IMHO, but whatever.) but here he is trying to give some common sense advice.
Don’t scream till you turn purple on stream, don’t yell at a woman like a tard. Especially when she’s calm and cool like a glass of water.
Nothing controversial really.
To Nick, giving some good advice that he doesn’t want to hear, is of course a stab in the back.
Any psychologists in the house? Because everything about this exchange just screams personality disorder.
