She's selling merch and I think it's kinda weird that among the stuff there is a acrylic stand of irl self in sale (a button as well). I've never bought any physical merch but I can see why people buy this stuff of things for fictional characters. But for an actual person? Is this a thing?

I’m not that plugged into the idol scene so I can’t say just how common it is but they will have stands of their actual selves as merch so it’s at least not unheard of

Totally normal, its like kids who owned posters or standees of britany spears, spice girls or justin bieber. (or far more common even today rock band posters). We had our own idol rush but it was a fad here.
