The original Rainbow flag in 1978 had it and hot pink, ironically the two future tranny colors, hot pink was dropped almost immedately as almost no flag makers had it in stock since it's so rare in normal flags, and the next year they dropped the second blue to make the number of stripes an even number so they could split it in half to display vertically on street lamps with half the colors on one side and the other half on the other.
